That is what is wrong with the world today. Parents are too whimpy. You tell the kids that the 9 y/o will sit with the mom and the 6 y/o will sit with the dad. If they complain too much, they don't get to go.

The old taterhead two step .... the sheephumpers are famous for it. Always involves getting their kids involved to mooch tickets and free food at ballgames.

And they start teaching them how to grift opposing fans at a young age up there.

Most of them are gyspsies ... everyone knows this right? The taterheads have a big gypsy community and then are famous for using the little kid to mark the suckers in the crowd.

During the off season they do construction scams and the like ... so they are all trained to jerk tears and hug strangers at the drop of a hat.

LULZ at the Bama fan who fell for the taterhead two step.

Main thing I got from that is those parents suck.

I mean seriously what kind of parent leaves their two elementary school aged children alone in a place with 80k strangers liquored up with emotions running high, and in the other team section no less?

Then, to put the onus on someone else to have to watch over them/make sure they are ok when they paid a crap load of money to enjoy a football game is unbelievable.

Terrible people.

Its a nice way of deflecting from the fact his team CHOKED and gave up 3 TD in the fourth quarter of the NC game.

Great story. Those not willing to read the post......I have to wonder, what ARE you willing to read? If you're a Bama fan, it's worth your precious 2-3 minutes. That story gives me some hope that you're not all a bunch of insufferable braggarts.

Yeah, in a setting where that is 100% expected. Those dads know exactly who they're leaving their sons with and know the rest of the group is there as well.

These irresponsible fricks left their young boys in a section of strangers. It blows my mind that in this day and age they could think that was remotely acceptable.

As nice a story as it is, this was my thought as well. I would never leave my kids alone in that situation. Mom and I would definitely have to split. I'm glad it went the way it did, but I do agree that they may be a little crazy and were definitely selfish, if not reckless, in making this decision.

Cool story about a pedophile who dreamed of sitting next to two young boys at a game he witnessed from the couch.

Don't know if story is true or not but good read. As far as leaving kids alone in stadiums, I don't think it is a big deal...I have an 18yr old and 13yr old, been going to games since the oldest was 5, nearly all OM games, bowl games, several SEC bball tournie s and we have set all over the place..Once older was 12 I was cool with it, I was as well, kids are smarter than you think...Wish they would sit with dad now
