Something stats don't show without the ko return
by beckham the game was in doubt late in the 4th
quarter.

quote:

But the Horned Frogs' drive was hampered when Trevone Boykin was sacked and fumbled. They recovered the ball, but had to settle for Jaden Oberkrom's 39-yard field goal to get within 30-27 with 7 1/2 minutes left. Then came Beckham's big kickoff return.

If only Quentin Thomas recovered that fumble. If he would have recovered the game would have been over. He fell directly on it.

3 retuns fot TDsin the first half meant 3 less possessions.

It's evident Bama shut the offense down in the 2nd half up 35-10 because they were putting 8 and 9 in the box and we were still runnning.

Our WR are very very good but had 4 or 5 dropped passes two 25 yard passes right in their hands and a couple of 10 yard passes. Also the refs wrongly called a 20 yard TD out of bounds , so don't get all excited and start fapping, AJs stats should of been 16-23, 200 yards 2 TDs and 1 interception, with a sore toe and he threw 3 passes away, so get the jiz off your face.

For the past few years before this, those stats would have been flipped. Pretty cool to see the shoe on the other foot for once.

ETA: In particular 2013 Alabama is reminding me of 2011 LSU and vice versa, just statistically.
