Aren't you off on Bama's kick-off returns? I believe I saw jones return a fine one?.

The penalty stats really stand out! :yikes: Disclaimer: Bama has already had it's ONE holding call this year. We've met our quota. REC says we don't have to have any more this year.
I thought Cyrus had 2.

Here we go, yet again
Didn't LSU sneak in with 2 losses? Just saying. Let it go Sugarplum....let it go

Judging by how TCU's offense performed, Bama should be juuuuuust fine.

2008 Bama (12-0) beat Tulane (2-10) 20-6 in the 2nd game of the season.
Total yards: Tulane 318, Bama 172
Arenas had a punt return for a TD and a blocked punt was returned for a TD. Had ONE Offensive TD.
We have an Offensive game like this every year.

We had two if I'm not mistaken. Ref's must want a raise.

Also, due to the kickoff and punt return for TD's we missed two offensive drives that should have made those stats a little better. In theory at least.

Why did Lsu give up twice as many first downs and almost triple the score?

Obviously because TCU is much better than Virginia Tech

Or Bama is gonna have a field day on that defense.

With that offense?
Don't make me laugh

No need for potent against weak defenses.

Because we played a team with a pulse. We also gave up a kickoff return and a fumble inside the 5. We also allowed an extended TD drive after forcing a 3 and out, but a bone headed roughing the passer call happened.
If you honestly think Alabama was more impressive..hell, in the same stratosphere as LSU Saturday night, you're a bigger moron than I previously thought.

Did I intimate anywhere in this thread that I thought they were?

Or your defense isn't as good as you think it is.
Both opponents coming off 7-6 seasons. Still tbd how good anyone is right now. Except Bama's defense of course. It is going to be nasty good again when it's all said and done.
