Absolutely untrue

too injury prone

Based on him getting a high ankle sprain at the end of August, one year?

Fournette has his faults, neither of these apply though.

Why though? He is either hurt, or gains less than 100 yards against real teams. He lacks real speed to pull away from elite D players, and is too injury prone to lean on all year. Way overrated.

He's pretty well-rounded. With the exception of his ability to stay on his feet, he's just not clearly elite in any one aspect. He's very good in most of them, though.

Honestly, it's fair to point out that he's been shut down by elite lines. But every running back in the country goes up against lesser competition. Few of them manage what LF manages. That tells me he has the tools, he just needs instruction on how to best use them without relying on his raw talent to push him through defenses. I have no idea who LSU's RB coach is without looking it up, but that would be a great place to start when evaluating LF's potential.

Edit: And, yes, I know people are critical of his vision, and I get why. But his vision seems to be just fine when he's not playing Bama. I think there's a good reason for that.

Fournette struggles at creating his own plays. He can turn a small crease into a huge play but if it's not there then he is ineffective. But when you're getting hit 2 yards behind the line there's not much any back can do.

Leonard has been scared of Alabama since Foster hit him on that kickoff. He avoids contact with Alabama players

I was saying this the past couple of weeks. I was just smack talking and wanting to show my gif of that hit. I don't believe that and I didn't then either. The only reason LF doesn't perform well against Bama is because LSU's oline struggles to get a push on Bama's dline. All running backs need blocking. LF isn't afraid of anyone. That is silly.

Going to LSU cost him millions.

I don't think so. He will still be a high draft pick and make millions. Name one running back who ran successfully at that Alabama defense of line?

So the only elite defense he's played in 3 years is Bama? Wisconsin and Auburn aren't good? Because he ran for over 100 on both of them with a hurt ankle. Last year he only had 91 against Arky but ran for over 5 yds a carry and ran for 90 against Ole Miss but had like 150 total yds bc he caught a few passes. Florida doesn't have elite defenses? Ran for 140+ the last 2 years

But he is not an overhyped joke like LF7

I thank God LSU didn't use Guice more...he ran into the teeth of Bama front and move the ball on a couple of plays.... Honest assessment

I agree with that. He took people head on and moved the pile. He plays with reckless abandon, gotta love that in a RB. More from him would have definitely made it even more interesting.

An overhyped joke is a Heisman trophy winner who can't beat out Demarco Murray.

He's a beast and would've been working on his 2nd Heisman this year.

Not to mention a shot at another ring.

A passing game can help open the running game.LSU has lacked balance to help him out. He's a good back, but he can't do it by himself.

He will be fine in the NFL if he goes to a team that can open up a hole for him. He has good hands, and will be a big factor in a good passing attack, and his vision isn't anywhere near as bad as Richardson.

Only once in a generation backs have been able to do that for their teams.

He was one.

Earl, Hershall, Bo, Darren, Adrian, etc.

See how only the first name is needed to know who I'm talking about?
