you would have said Briles was better than Bobby P and you wouldn't need a defense. We saw that movie the past couple of years.

I'd much rather have the pro style offense. Running the spread is for schools who have large talent decencies

A&M and Oregon have talent deficiencies?

Everything else you responded with is just conclusory with casting.

Rant logic strikes again

Petrino's defenses have always been better than Brile's defenses, even at Louisville

I would've been pissed if we had hired Briles

And the rant narrative matters how much when it comes to winning? After the first two years of Les Miles' tenure at LSU, the mouthbreather narrative was that he was Larry Coker. There were people that fricking stupid. They are irrelevant, just as are those who think briles is anything less than a stud.

you might get a couple of dudes with their heads up their asses who talked shite but I would be extremely worried had Arky hired Briles. He really is that good.

No, but it's true for the most part

They'd honestly be better served using a pro styles offense (especially A&M) because if you don't have that top flight QB you're still good

It's true for most schools

Not every school obviously, but most

We heard that rhetoric with Sumlin. As I'm sure you can see, it haunts us to this day.

they guy is 57, who knows how long he'll hang around. he doesn't exactly have a lot of time to adjust to the SEC. After the last fiasco we need a younger coach with the potential to stay a while. Not someone who may not even succeed and if e does he'll be too old to sustain it over a long period of time.

Why can't the Rant grasp this?

Rant logic??? If you had hired Briles that would have been the company line handed down from Sail Central. You know it, I know it, we all know it.

many were pissed we hired Sumlin ( Kaiser???) but now we are 10-2 and have a top 10 recruiting class with 3 of the top 20 defensive tackles in the nation committed. Sometimes it just fits, and i though Briles would fit like a glove at arkansas. I really don't mean to flame it's just MHO.

Lat, expound for me...

Arky is looking to get top 15 recruiting classes from what you and others have said. You are switching to pro-style. You are competing against LSU and Bama (both pro-style) and aTm. All of whom have top 5 classes. Do your facilities allow you to beat them with lesser athletes?

Ehh Sherman always did have good offensive lines and Manziel's success was uncoachable, he's just a complete freak

There were many on here that didnt want Briles or Bielema but after seeing how much it pissed the Rant off when we praised him we've gone full sail on the Bertlove, in turn Rant turns even more anti-Bert. case in point: Draconian.

You of all people should be keen on our tactics by now.
