You haven't had a really good, home grown QB since Matt Flynn, and now you are saying that a 3-star, lightly recruited kid is going to successful because he is a student of the game?

Matt Flynn was from Texas.

I think he means recruited and developed, and he's not wrong about that

Alright, then disregard my comment about Adams if you guys think he's that much of a lock. That's still only 3.

Yes (which was clearly aimed at Mettenberger).

And again, I'm not saying this Scott kid won't be good, he might, but I don't quite understand already touting an under the radar kid when you have gone through much more highly rated kids and none of them have produced. Seems silly.

Because the original post about Scott was only to denigrate Franks.

I'm sure that's what he means, but I think it would be accurate to say Mettenberger was developed at LSU, and he did well.

Mettenberger played under two different coaches before he got to LSU. I think it's irrefutable that he improved while at LSU, but LSU has still yet to recruit a kid out of high school and develop him into a good QB since Matt Flynn. Honestly, I'm not sure Miles has personally done that in his entire career as a head coach

I hope the draft is being held in a single story building this year.

And it's also your 9,038th post about LSU. That's got to be a record on this site.

Fournette and Beckwith are the only locks on this list. Dupre has average production so far, Pocic is as much of a first rounder as Vadal Alexander was this time last year, Adams is average against the pass, White is overrated, Godchaux is good but I doubt he'll be a first rounder and Neal is the definition of tweener.

Lol at the Franks' comment. He's a project but I'll gladly take him over the midget LSU signed in his place.

This is the dumbest post I have ever seen. If you don't think Adams, Pocic, or White is a 1st rounder, then you're an idiot. Barring a huge injury from them, this will happen.

Hell, Pocic hasn't even started at the position he is going to play in the NFL yet and you are already convinced he is a 1st rounder?

ask that question again next year. LSU will have 4-5 first rounders, minimum.

Wait, so we are back to the 2015 LSU offensive line being good again or no? I can't keep it straight.

show me a link that has where Pocic is playing in the NFL, or even next year at LSU for that matter.

If Pocic stays at Center, which I expect, he is the first center taken in the draft next year whether that is late first round or early second round.
