Please stop. The chances of LSU having 7 first round picks is slim to none.

/agree. But they may well have 7 players with 1st round grades.

So LSU's 2015 defense had 5 first round picks?

Man, pretty massively underachieving unit there.

Lack of older players? or just a lack of high NFL-caliber players? If the later, Miles is slackin'.

A handful of players that normally would have went pro early - White, Beckwith, Pocic, Dural, Neal & Lacouture, all decided to return for senior season. Hawkins was the only early declaration we had.

I'm pretty knowledgeable. Isn't he the one whose junk fell out at the combine?

mainly early declaration

beckwith may have been able to get first round but most likely 2nd or 3rd

I think Aranda really helps his stock next season and showcases his strengths

Fournette-1st round lock
Beckwith-!st round lock
Dupre- 1st round lock
Pocic-was given 2nd round grade this year
Adams-1st round lock
White-was given 2nd round grade this year
Godchaux-1st rounder possibly early 2nd round
Neal-was given 2nd round grade this year
Fournette and Beckwith are the only locks on this list. Dupre has average production so far, Pocic is as much of a first rounder as Vadal Alexander was this time last year, Adams is average against the pass, White is overrated, Godchaux is good but I doubt he'll be a first rounder and Neal is the definition of tweener.

Lol at the Franks' comment. He's a project but I'll gladly take him over the midget LSU signed in his place.

Defenses with 5 1st round picks should be accomplishing a little bit more than shutting down bottom 3 offenses in the league.

How many left early last year?

How many are in the draft this year?

No invites? Pathetic when you think about all that talent y'all boast about every year. Maybe y'all aren't as talented as you think.

Scott is about 5'11.5-6'0 flat, not really a "midget". We're not talking Tate Martell here.

I think Franks can eventually be good (with A LOT of quality coaching and mechanics change), but Scott has something Franks will never possess about him. Due is an amazing student of the game and can take criticism/adjust, but if he's going to be successful at LSU the offense will have to be tailored to him.

One of them being talked about as a possible late 1st round pick. By Mel Kiper, but still.

Adams is a lock for the 1st round unless he gets injured or pulls a Tyrann Mathieu. It would be pretty ignorant to argue otherwise. He's more of a lock than anyone outside Fournette on LSU's roster

LSU will have at least 4 first rounders next year. They are LOADED for the draft. Going to be a big drop off in veterans after this season. Thankfully there are a lot of young guys this season that will get some reps and experience.

LOL, do you guys ever get tired of these loud claims that don't come to fruition?

You haven't had a really good, home grown QB since Matt Flynn, and now you are saying that a 3-star, lightly recruited kid is going to successful because he is a student of the game?

I'm not saying he won't, but it is incredible how often you guys roll right back down the same tracks with these guys.

Ran the fastest 10-yard split of anyone over 285 pounds, with his junk out. He weighed in at 310.
