When you average 350 ypg, your opponents aren't going to rank very high afterwards.

We've had a few long runs allowed on us this year. Still kicked almost everyone's arse.
Tell me, how did Bama do against Tennessee and Arkansas? Ole Miss?

Florida and Syracuse were ranked much higher before we shredded them. You realize there's a bit of a counterintuitive theory at work here where based on how well LSU's done against many of their opponents, they've brought their overall ranking downwards, right? These statistics are somewhat misleading because of that. To be quite honest, the opponents faced is also a worthwhile stat to review.
But I do think that Alabama is by far the best defensive front we'll face all year. Conversely, the offensive line that LSU rolls into T-Town with will be-without question-the most dominant front the Tide face all season.
Just like always, two superpowers that are designed and built to stop each other are going to test their wares. I hope we're able to break through after a frustrating few years of close losses.

Completely original topic that hasn't been talked about at least once daily..

LSU 4 with 309.ydpg and 6.66ypc
Bama 42 with 188.5ydpg and 4.53ypc
Seems much worse to me

Only thing I notice in these stats listed is how A&M has a lot of false hope from their offseason hire.

You should pull out the data for LSU and Alabama's rushing against each team...then compare it...that would give somewhat of a better comparison right? Although it is still hard to gauge since one doesn't really know what kind of teams (rush vs pass offense) each team has played.
Doesn't matter really. If you think LF is not really that good....ok...you will get your chance to prove it.

I don't envy A&M, especially if LF7 is still healthy, and LSU and LF7 both have high accomplishments to obtain.
Is that DB from A&M that LF7 trucked still on the team? LOL. I bet he isn't looking forward to this matchup.

You do realize that lsu destroys teams rushing numbers, right? You don't know football if you can't tell lsu has the best run game in cfb. WE have 3 rbs with ypc over 5.

That proves it.

When lsu faced Syracuse, they hadn't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 15 straight games. LF had over 200 and 108 yards called back.

Its not like we played these defenses made out with only 150 yds as a team. LSU is rushing for well over 300. Just stop.

Well hell, let's just forfeit. No sense even playing the game.

The only 2 decent run teams you've played had success running on you. Tenn had 2 players with over 4 ypc.
This will be the best oline any bama player will face during his collegiate career.
Harris is one of the least sacked starting qb and I don't even need to mention our run blocking.
We have 3 rbs with a ypc over 5.
Our 3rd string rb is almost averaging a first down every time he runs the ball(9.3 ypc)
