perhaps i may be overlooking this game for the maryland tourney game in puerto rico. hoping for some revenge on wichita state too lol. you now have my interest up for tonight's game

This one has me a bit nervous. Oakland is a legit team and we have looked anything but sharp in our first two games. We aren't exactly tip toeing around the OOC schedule this year, so the freshmen need to grow up quick.

We'll need to actually look decent on offense. Randolph/Lacey/Cooper need to hit some 3s and not look like freshmen tonight.

Why is this game not on TV?
Also, Oakland lost their 6'11 center Benson who Sandusky'd us last year.
Will be interesting to see how they play without him.

For all the talk about us returning Green, MItchell, and Releford, we are real young on the perimeter. Pretty much everyone in college basketball relies on freshmen to some extent so its certainly not a season long excuse if we don't meet expectations, but tonight it could be an issue.
Then again they're young on the frontcourt, where we have a lot of experience and talent.

Yeah, definitely not a season long excuse, but it is something to be worried about for the first 5 or 6 games of the year.
