No quarterback development at LSU under Miles. Jimbo helped with Russell and Flynn, and Mettenberger was a gift who learned at Georgia.

thats complete bullshite. you obviously haven't been following LSU like you say you have. Mettenberger improved drastically from 2012 to 2013. Cameron deserves credit.

So, no excuses if LSU beats A&M again this year?

Fair enough, but I don't see another Mettenberger type to be developed. Miles has one plan for Jennings and one plan if he actually lets Harris play. Jordan Jefferson time.

You say Florida is a tossup but Kentucky is a gimme. Please tell me exactly what you base that on sir. Instead of watching your team get pummeled by Oklahoma, maybe you should have flipped over and watched the UK - Florida game for more perspective.

I base it on the fact that Florida is better than Kentucky.

The better team doesn't always win. LSU could pull the upset.

Harris looked promising, but that doesn't matter. Jennings has looked promising (Arkansas), Jefferson looked promising (Georgia Tech). Les Miles has an unbelievable ability to hinder the progress of QBs.

If Les Miles didn't have such awesome DC's under him, his incompetency on offense would be much more glaring, like it was the year of Malveto.

A caveat. Nice. Almost like making an excuse in advance.

I think Ole Miss is the better team but it is in Baton Rouge. Agreed. An LSU win is definitely possible. I put it at 40%.

Ole Miss kind of gets their rocks off in Death Valley. We love it there and have upset them pretty regularly there.

I don't see any gimme wins and Miles will have to pull a few miracles to get to a bowl. Kentucky won't be a pushover, but I give them that game just because they're at home. So that's winning their OOC game and their only SEC win being Kentucky. They'll have to upset someone to get a bowl, with the most likely candidate being a pathetic and defeated Florida at the Swamp. I think Arkansas will run all over them. Ole Miss will hang 50 through the air on that secondary and shut down their offense completely. We always play well at Death Valley and this year we have the advantage of being twice the team they are too.

Wrong. I wouldn't call UK a gimme

Yeah, because they proved that with their triple overtime victory in the swamp. I'm guessing you think Tennessee is superior to Kentucky this year as well.

Well yeah y'all can beat anyone in Death Valley. At this moment though I think we are the better team and pull out the victory.

Kentucky will be a harder game for LSU than Arkansas and A&M. Kentucky actually plays defense

actually a well informed OP. He knows that LSU will never go a winless 0-8 in conference because LSU is better than Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, State, and Arkansas who all have had a winless 0-8 season.
