Texas A&M, Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss are clearly better teams. Arkansas and Florida are tossups.

The only gimmes are Kentucky and New Mexico State.

To avoid 6-6, LSU needs to win one of their tossups and win one they shouldn't. I think this happens, and LSU goes 7-5 and beats someone they shouldn't because Les has that magic... but damn. The decline is real.

Funny thing is they'd still beat the shite out of A&M.

Maybe. Upsets happen.

I <3 u

Yes this is going to be a rough year for LSU but they are really young and inexperienced. They will be back to form next year.

I think we can beat Ole Miss at home.

One of those four is unlike the other three.

The division was much different at the time. Arkansas, Auburn, and Mississippi State all had losing records that year. You didn't have to recruit against Texas A&M.

I think Ole Miss is the better team but it is in Baton Rouge. Agreed. An LSU win is definitely possible. I put it at 40%.

Arkansas is better than A&M and Razorback stadium is a tough place to play

I (as an LSU fan..) am not surprised at the outcome against MSST...

LSU lines have simply looked anemic to me overall and I am old school enough to believe generally, games are won in the trenches...

It is as if neither of our lines brings any nastiness or attitude..

Who is playing at Razorback Stadium? I thought LSU played them there last year? Y'all are on the road twice in a row?

Yeah.

One of two times this year LSU will play back-to-back road games. The schedule isn't too kind.

I've been watching LSU closely since 2001. I think Les Miles is finally losing it.

Two players have completely stopped the decline as of late. Tyrann Mathieu changed games on ST and defense and allowed them to run that horrible I-form with a spread QB. Then Mett was the perfect QB to run out of the I-form. Barring another player that covers up that dog shite offense, that team will STRUGGLE.

No quarterback development at LSU under Miles. Jimbo helped with Russell and Flynn, and Mettenberger was a gift who learned at Georgia.

You say Florida is a tossup but Kentucky is a gimme. Please tell me exactly what you base that on sir. Instead of watching your team get pummeled by Oklahoma, maybe you should have flipped over and watched the UK - Florida game for more perspective.
