Wow, tough fielding weekend for Homan continues. Rogers was dead to rights at 2nd, but Homan muffed the throw. Vandy 2nd & 3rd with 1 out top of the 8th.

ETA: Homan makes up for it with a nice throw to the plate to nab Delay on a slow roller to short.

Followed up with a single to right to plate one and then a great bounce back to the catcher on a wild pitch to nab Campbell at the plate. Close play.

VU up 6-0 going to bottom of the 8th. Pitching change: Wright out, Snider in.

One of our biggest arse kickings of the year. I hope they come out fighting in the 9th. I don't want to be shutout.

Going to bottom 9, still 6-0. Curious whether Corbin leaves Snider in or goes to Bowden? Guessing Bowden...

ETA: It's the closer, Bowden.

Homan grounds into a DP to end it, 6-1. GG Aggies!

A little too much drama in the 9th but a nice bounce back win on the road against an elite team.

You had a 6 run lead and only surrendered one run.

That sucked. We need a slumpbuster for the bats.

You know better Farmer. Closer in a non-close situation giving up 3 straight hits against the bottom of the order of that potent lineup. No thanks.

Way to go, America's team!

Actually, good game. Considering the chatter I heard yesterday, apparently y'all managed to win shorthanded the first game, so it's been an interesting struggle between two really good teams.
