No, Mack made it clear when he decommitted from us that LSU was the frontrunner. Then when he recommitted to us he made it clear that was because of Chavis's track record of sending guys to the NFL.

Yeah, I shouldn't have called you dickfoot. Giant Vagina is much more appropriate. Stop bleeding all over this thread.

i'm just talking about his first step, burst and agility bro. pretty freaky for a guy that size.

again, you're right about the competition level, just wasn't what i was using to base my opinions on.

i could be wrong, it's happened before.

Chavis said Anthony Johnson was "the most nfl ready defensive tackle I've ever seen out of high school". We all saw how that turned out.

Mack could be very good, if he continues to develop and gets proper coaching. It remains to be seen whether either will happen at aTm.

Never said he didn't or referred to him and his recruiting. I'm saying the chavis hire locked him in at AM.
Where are you here?

I thought aggies were realistic? Saying an unproven freshman is the best linemen on our team is realistic?...

yeah, i remember "the freak". aptly named individual, but he isn't as quick as mack.

mack may never become anything, but his potential is through the roof. maybe even more than freak johnson.

You're so witty. I don't understand how you could have failed, miserably, at being a smart arse the way you did.

It was quite impressive.

Daylon is super raw, he wasn't coached much at all in highschool. He was the UA MVP and a 5* purely of genetic luck and time in the weight room. His biggest knocks were height and all he knew was bull rush.

As I said in another of these Mack threads a while back, he's Anyhony Johnson v. 1.1.2. He's an athletic freak who's dominated based on that, and only that, to this point.

Whether he's successful in the SEC and beyond will be determined by his development. He can continue to rely on his athleticism and will be mediocre, or he can learn how to actually play the position and become a beast.

The question is, does aTm have the coaching to develop him? Only time will tell.

And whose fault is that?

I'm sure you won't be able to say that after ED O takes 3-4 5*s this February

Welp, you tell us. We have the guy who used to develop talent for you (except for DBs, Mr Magic Raymond did that I know).

Why is Chavis given zero credit for recruiting at LSU, yet any current holes on the roster are his fault?

How could I forget? The DC develops all the players in Aggyland.

And going against the future NFL O-linemen that LSU, Bama, Arky, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc, will put out there he better be able to do a little more than bull rush. That will work against the Ball States and Nevadas of the world.

Not on the offense. The DJ develops those players.
