Would SCAR be as hardcore about their great baseball program if their football team started winning significant games?

We can talk shite to any other fanbase in the SEC, but you chose LSU?

Balls of steel my friend

Still not as funny as talking to a buddy of mine who is a UNC fan. He wanted me to admit they had a better baseball program than LSU at the moment. This was after I made him look foolish when he asked what LSU had won in the last 10 years.

I did not know that LSU made its first appearance in '75

Someone correct if I'm wrong, but part of that was because of state law, which prevented LA teams from playing teams with black players.
I saw a show a few weeks ago, and they were talking about a team from the 60's that couldn't play in the NCAA because of that stupid law. Said they could of been good enough to challenge USC that year. I feel for the players in that situation. Having to suffer because of a racist law that is luckily long gone.

Can't wait for the season to start. You guys have a fantastic program. I'm also a big fan of Carolina Stadium.

Just an Auburn fan trying to validate their shitty baseball program.

When you come out here for a game, let me know ... first few beers are on me.

That goes for any LSU fan.

Just so anybody who was wondering knows, Super Regionals started in 1999, and essentially it's like a 'Sweet 16,'

College baseball is so under appreciated. PAC, ACC, and SEC all have some fantastic programs.

Some people just like college baseball. Most schools would be interested if their team had some history with it. Kind of like most Alabama fans only like football.

This. Bama is a football school. State is a baseball school. Kentucky is a basketball school. No matter the respected success another sport gets, these schools will always be known for that sport.

And making it to Omaha is like the Elite Eight, or even moreso like the Final Four in essence.

As do college basketball fans speak highly of making it to the Final Four, so do college baseball fans speak of making it to Omaha.
