The concentration of good fishing grounds within the city of Tuscaloosa is hard to resist for a man like Señor Freshwater.

He's not leaving for anything other than a head coaching job.

He must be real damaged goods, that only Saban can control.

I cant decide how good Kiffin really is as a coordinator. Saban does such a GOAT job of recruiting he gives Kiff a plethora of guys that are always going to be better then the guys they line up against. How does the fanbase feel about him as a coordinator?

ETA: I would have a hard time judging any coordinator at Bama right now btw

He did a great job calling plays to develop Coker this year. I'd say he's the top OC in the sec

There was never a concern of him leaving, he has a better job with a better boss

I dont really agree. I mean he did ok. Run the ball, run the ball, play action deep or safe easy throw in space and let your studs make plays in space. I think being an OC at Bama was a dream job this year. For the most part, your defense was going to dominate the other team so much that by then end of the game your offense will start to work simply because of how many possessions they get. Much like our offense in 2011 in the Arky and UGA games

Exactly. There should be some good college hesd coach openings next year that are better fits formhim than this year.

how many games does bama win this year with an above average instead of elite defense? and are we having this conversation if clemson didn't forget to cover the TE a handful of times?

i like how he approaches the game but i don't think he could succeed at schools without great defenses.. a great defense makes even average OCs look great.

I'm sure you could call plays ....I mean winning an NC and producing. Heisman winner are things anyone could do....

Bama score 45 points in the title game. It's not like they scored 17 and won.

Is this the new "if Colt McCoy hadnt got hurt" mantra we'll hear?

And come on people. He's been here two years, with one Heismam finalist and one Heisman winner and back to back 3k passing QBs. He's a phenomenal OC, it won't kill you to admit it.

Kiffins buyout money along with his Bama money puts him at around $3 mill a year doesn't it? I am sure he is just fine with his current gig.

There was so many times I was screaming "Run Henry to the right!", and that dumbass Kiffin ran him to the left.
