Growing up we went to both and you had to buy two season ticket packages even.

I think you give LR a game once every two years and have it be the mid tier OOC opponent. The SEC and big name OOC and worst OOC need to be in Fayetteville for recruiting.

The commission though has to be able to have yearly inspections and if not pass give them 2 months to improve or move it to Nam. That way you are playing in a quality stadium and improving the stadiums.

Arkansas would be exactly Mississippi without Northwest Arkansas' economic success.

Jackson = Little Rock = Baton Rouge = demographics = size. They are ALL THE SAME.

Little Rock dislikes not being the only game in town any longer. I love competition it breeds a better product and if you don't like it tough.

Northwest Arkansas was a traditional old southern white flight area until this past decade. Arkansas' minority enrollment is up 80% since 2008 because of the lottery and the demographics are finally spread around the state actually representing the whole state.

The truth be told is some Arkansas fans want a "U" style football program while living behind a gated all white community. It doesn't work both ways and that identity is changing. Again, I said SOME.

Without Little Rock we wouldn't have the entire state sealed together that built a unique fan base. However, after the RRS expansion the reward was games in the Rock until 2016. Little Rock built the Razorbacks and now they are holding them back.

That prize is coming to an end and the great stadium debate will just about be over. However, I hope Little Rock and NWA city counselors continue to try and one up each other and make our state better as a whole.

Bring on the competition.

NWA is building a "new south" feel with the influence of west coast, east coast and yankees. I'm all for it because they end up loving Arkansas and the south and adopting but more importantly help NWA grow economically.

As stated before.. Little Rock never gave two shits about NWA UNTIL three F500 companies exploded and they wanted in on the pot that is Northwest Arkansas money.

Those are all facts if y'all like it or not.

P.S. Coming from someone who grew up in the River Valley. I always loved Little Rock and NWA was a hick backwards place. My.. how times have changed.

You better believe I'm posting that on the next page and not the bottom of the previous page.

I'm going to start counting posts before submitting my response. I know how good marketing works.

There were more people in Fayetteville to watch a spring practice scrimmage than at War Memorial tonight. Any real fan should be embarrassed by that and acknowledge that it is time to move on. There are idiots like yourself who will defend WMS to the end. I will call you what you are from this point forward. You're stupid and you're hurting the program, so frick you.

Over-saturation and stealing of ideas got Sam Walton a big conglomerate.

When they destroyed Oklahoma Tire and Supply, nobody noticed. But when they hired ex K-Mart execs and buried them, people noticed.

But Bama used to play in Birmingham and doesn't anymore, so I get why the Hogs want to copy success.

Where did I say that I didn't like it? I'm for moving all of the games. I'm just tired of a segment of people bashing central Arkansas that don't know shite about it. Actually not Little Rock, but central Arkansas as a whole. There is only a small area of Little Rock where I would even consider living. IMO, the homes and schools in the cities surrounding Little Rock are on par with NWA.

I don't think it's Little Rock, it's mainly Stephens, Fletcher, etc.

I agree with the majority of every thing else you posted.

47k off campus for a game against f-ing Samford is GREAT.

Just a week ago Miss State and Okie Light could only pull 35k (announced) for their game at Reliant.

I don't get it either, most people are in agreement on here or more or less in agreement yet some aren't listening and still trying to fight. Hopefully it's the liquor.

Isn't Murphy based out of LR still? I know people connect them to Wal Mart, but they're two separate companies.

Who is copying who here?

You do know why Arkansas played in Little Rock in the first place don't you?

Have you read Frank Broyles book for starters? If so then you also know what the SWC had to say about Fayetteville then don't you..

Yes I do and you do know Alabama moved all games to Tuscaloosa.

The worst thing ever was that the people in NWA also gave up games in basketball to Barton and Pine Bluff

ETA: plus the only way into FYV was over the mountain, that was huge untold reason people wanted games in LR.

Don't disagree with you, but you need to throw a scrap to the Southern Arkansas population every so often.

The politics and layout of this state is going to demand that LR be given something.

Plus you will isolate some high school coaches in recruiting if you don't play in LR.

That is the only disadvantage of the school not being centrally located like most state universities.

Can someone just come out and explain why UA plays games in Little Rock?

As an outsider, it doesn't make any sense. I'm truly not trying to flame. I really don't get it.
