Makes you wonder what these network geniuses are actually thinking about.

Seems like a good way to divide a bunch of advertising revenue.

I can understand NBC and Fox putting their premier games in the same slot as ABC/ESPNs, but I can't understand ABC and ESPN putting their premier games in the same slot. ABC has Penn State-Pitt at 3:30, while the ESPN networks all have garbage games at that time:
ESPN: no game
ESPN2: Alabama-Fresno State
ESPNU: Miami-Arkansas State
SECN: Tennessee-Indiana State/Vanderbilt-Alabama A&M (4 p.m.)
LHN: Texas-San Jose St.
and a variety of trash on ESPN3
Not sure whether the ACC Network is affiliated with ESPN, but their games at the 3:30 slot are shite, too:
Virginia Tech-Delaware
Virginia-Indiana
Syracuse-Middle Tennessee
Either Auburn-Clemson or Ohio State-Oklahoma would wipe the floor with any of those games.
One possible explanation might be if ESPN has a deal with CBS not to put a marquee SEC game in the 3:30 time slot that would compete with the CBS SEC game of the week, which this week is Arkansas-TCU. If that were the case, and they probably figure OSU-OU is such a big national game that they really need to put it in prime time, I could see how we wind up with Auburn-Clemson and OSU-OU competing against each other in the prime time slot on ESPN and ABC.

Week 1 was a 5 day overload of football. Week 2 is looking like a meet the boys at a bar Saturday night kind of week.

Makes me happy to have multiple screens...
It is stupid though...

This one should be at 3:30. ND doesn't like playing home games after dark.

Georgia at Notre Dame is not a huge game

Big mistake by the networks

Damn. We play at 7 too.
Multi screen hype
I'm going to be in Vegas ... this means I'll have to pay money in a sports bar to have one of the big screens showing our game.
I may just sit in the Venetian betting parlor and watch it on the big wall.
This is some seriously bad conflicted scheduling.

Mizzou/Scar is at 7 as well, primetime is loaded with good games and the early games look like dog shite.
