UGA and Clemson have a very long, heated rivalry (bigger, even, than ours with USCe) that was discontinued in 2003. We're renewing it next year by opening in Clemson, then in Sanford the next year.

USCe is a weird fanbase. Or, I guess, our relationship with them is weird. Apparently they have always hated us and considered us huge rivals, but until recently they havent posed enough of a threat for us to either notice or care.

I know there are older fans that were alive during the ACC days that put UNC and/or NC State right after Clemson.

Kind of like our fanbase. My Dad, for example, puts Tech and Auburn as 1a and 1b. My grandpa has Tech and Clemson 1a and 1b. Folks my age are almost unanimous in Florida being our #1 rival. Then it breaks down regionally: West Georgians hate Auburn, South Georgians hate UF, East Georgians (mainly the Augusta people) hate USCe, and North Georgians loathe Tennessee

You hate the teams closer to you the most because you usually have more of their fans near you. I live just over 2 hours from Athens and there are a lot of dawg fans around. That is why I would consider Georgia as our 2nd biggest rival.I would think that would be true of most fan bases if you told the truth about it.
