Member when UK fans melted worse than LSU fans after UK football failed to beat UF for the 28th time in a row.

There was no bitching about the refs from UK fans, right? Right?

You keep bringing football in a thread about basketball. Seems you know you're out of smack and have nothing to contribute. No wonder Billy left y'all asses, ignorant basketball fans.

Please, keep with the 28 in a row smack talk. Y'all actually have a good basketball team and still football on the mind.

It affected the outcome of the game directly. Huge difference, but I wouldn't expect you to know that.

26-6 FT advantage had no affect on the game? That's what you want me to believe.

Don't be purposely obtuse.

Kentucky was about to get run out of their own gym by Florida and end up winning by 10. The officials turned a blowout into a decisive victory and not one Cat fan will admit the benefit of the refs. Not even a little. Surprising, I thought they were good fans.

I think it was Belle that was threatening to turn the tv off even. And magically they turned it around. Sure thing.

Well then you could say that about every game in the history of basketball. Go look at the shot chart, it answers this question pretty well.

Well, yeah. I would suggest that between fairly evenly matched teams that a FT diff of 20 would indeed affect the outcome of the game.

Until the NCAAT starts then most of us pull for UK but there is a reason UK is hated within the conference and it is precisely for the reason stated in the OP. Nobody gets home cooking like UK and nobody gets a fair shake on the road like UK. This isn't anything new. It's been that way for a long long time now.

To be fair, The Fightin' Ashley Judd's did lose by 22 on the road to UF. If the refs hadn't helped them then they would've lost by 40 I think.

The 2 teams I absolutely hate watching play are UK and Duke. I already know going into the game that they are going to get the benefit of every whistle and they can get away with hard play on their end while you can't blow on them on the other end. I usually change the channel whenever these teams are playing.

Careful there...
Alabama was 7 of 9 on FT's.
A&M was 26 of 37!

Unbiased maybe. Knowledgable, no way. KY was driving and FL was shooting 3s. Next time FL needs to play better D out on the perimeter and this won't repeat itself.

IT was in Rupp and UK is the SEC's darling in basketball. No way was Florida going to take over #1 at Rupp. No way.
