Seriously Monk probably wasn't going to get beat tonight, I give him all the credit for carrying UK. You know going in the refs at Rupp are going to screw you, the Refs just did alittle better than normal, but...
I call BS on this thread, the FT discrepancy wasn't the factor that the OP said it was, it wasn't 26-6..
It was 27-6

Actually we hate the whole state

Unnecessary thread. This is no surprise. I didn't get to see the game. How did we look?
Decent not great, not having Eg is much bigger loss than just his stats reflect.

You never replied to my post about this from yesterday? Every game should have the same number of FT's for each team?

Why is Monk allowed to have all the space in the world to shoot his jumpers, while our wings are not?
Call it both ways. Thats all Im asking.
But we are talking SEC refs, so that is pretty much impossible.

Can you let me know the last conference game that Kentucky had 6 free throws or less?

Nothing is more exciting than an SEC basketball game that comes down to the final possession.
I'm always on the edge of my seat waiting to see if the guy makes the free throws.

Alabama got hosed yesterday too, and I say that as an Aggie fan. 37-9 FT disparity. Yes we were more aggressive inside, so we should have had a comfortable lead in the FT column (maybe like 37-20), but 9 was a screw job

This was the shot chart from today's game.
So the team that shot more shots from around the basket drew more fouls? I'll be damned.
Going off of the FG attempt numbers (Kentucky had 53 FG attempts to Florida's 71), Florida is on the right. They have a metric shite ton of attempts the near the basket, so whatever point you were trying to make, it appears you made the opposite one

I posted this earlier but it still fits.
UK definitely outrebounded UF and UF is missing Egbunu's presence badly but our offense changed since our guards got into foul trouble very early. Hill, Allen and even DRob like to drive to the rim a lot but they had early fouls.
UF attempted 30 3pters but UF attempted 71FG in total while UK attempted 53 total.
And on CBS's shot chart stats it says:

No, that's a regular shot chart of makes and missed. The point was that Kentucky attacked the basket more than Florida, therefore there was a higher number of fouls called for Kentucky. Most fouls are called within the context of play in the post either by the post player or guard driving. Kentucky, especially in the 2nd half, spent a lot of time in the paint.

I was told that UK shot more near the rim. CBS must be way offf.

When you are outsized or out talented that's what happens. LSU has taught you well my friend.

Refs should be investigated for fraud. There were several phantom fouls where Monk was not even touched and these bullshite refs blew a whistle. SEC officials are incompetent in general but this was foul. Check their phone records.

Holy shite, sack up Gator fans. The game was Saturday and y'all are still crying like a bitch. Y'all got beat, get over it...Monk scorched you...in fact, he may have just dropped another one.

This is an LSU level melt, which I didn't think was possible.
