The one where the onside kick changed the momentum of the game. We had a better team two years ago than what we had last year.
And no I don't think a game in which your QB couldn't complete a pass down field 20 yards or more down the field (except busted coverages to OJ Howard) should ever result in a win. I don't think Hurts would have been the offensive player of the year in many high school leagues, but in the big tenacious defensive SEC?

They have both been on 2nd team for the last two years, I was thinking that might be an issue too but hopefully they have become familiar with each other.
I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Bryant. Everything coming from the team in the scrimmages says that he is the guy, which everyone kinda expected. He's a great athlete, but we'll see about it when he is playing a first team D. On the bright side, he has been practicing against Clemson's first D all summer so that will def make him better.
We had a major turnover issue last year. At the beginning of the year and even in the end, Deshaun threw a lot of interceptions. Some were his fault, some weren't, but that's one area I think Clemson can improve on. The defense is going to be there, we know that. Offense has plenty of weapons, just gotta see how they are used with Bryant at QB.
There were a lot of games last year where we could have scored 2 TD's and still won the game. I don't see any teams blowing us out, but it's going to be interesting when we get in one of those shoot out games

What's your definition of a physical team? Does it involve the school's success in the 1980's? Or a patch on their jersey?

Cool. You lost to us in a game we were up by 2 scores with 15 seconds left in the game. That sucks, but you didn't almost win.

Probably not, but it almost did.

He literally was about 60 seconds away from beating you, and you won the national championship, so you tell me?

Teams built with strong DL, OLs and LBs. Teams built to run the ball. The ACC is built for 7 on 7 football. Even Va Tech has changed their MO since joining. Fresh legs when you play two teams a year that make you sore afterwards. Hell, the ACC schools just lease their whirlpools.

Deshaun was an offensive machine. 4600 yards, 41 passing TD's, 9 rushing TD's last year. I don't see how you think your next QB duplicates that insane production.
I hate QB issues, and I imagine Dabo has short leash on Bryant.

We only have one team on our entire schedule this year that fits that description, FSU.

And yet you will still have a two loss season. More proof the ACC is soft.

Yeah he was and it was fun to watch. I don't expect anyone to duplicate it, if they do they will get to go to New York and watch somebody else win the Heisman. I just expect Clemson's offense to improve on certain areas.
I don't mean this in any kind of demeaning way, but Clemson is built different from Auburn as far as the team goes. You have transfers, guys that were kicked out from other places, etc. We have guys that are here for 3-4 years, they see the success of the guys in front of them and work their arse off to hopefully get the same things. I feel like most of the guys that come through Auburn from transferring and all that just see it as their best chance to get on the field and get to the NFL

And people will start trying to pump Auburn as a good team towards the end of the year when it gets close to the Bama game and hopefully make people forget about losing to Clemson, LSU, Georgia..more proof of living in reality and watching football in 2017

No threat of a passing game
That QB you guys processed threw a pretty good deep ball in that game. But your coaches decided to let the FB throw the ball just as much.

Other than notable QB transfers, the team is compiled of recruits that have been with the team for years. QB development is a known flaw for Malzahn and is a big reason Lashlee was let go and Lindsey was brought in.

With a schedule that would have Clemson with 4+ losses.

Ya'll got your GOAT QB for 2 years instead of 1. Thankfully as well or you'd be without a trophy to show for his efforts.
