Our chances of the upset are decent, but I'm not expecting it. I think it'll be a high-scoring shoot-out. Georgia has lost some weapons, and this probably makes them more predictable. Murray is a better passer than Franklin, but Franklin can throw the ball - and also run it. Both teams have poor pass D. Mizzou's rush D is very good, and we've been getting good pressure on the QB.

My WAG is 42-38, probably Georgia on top.

I picked a healthy Mizzou to upset a "good" SEC team this year. I think this is the team they upset. And if they win this game, watch out, they'll really be out for blood.

No excuses for the Dawgs injuries... Mizzou lost their whole o-line last year in the spring and played a beat up Franklin, so no excuses if Mizzou wins.

I cant see UGA not playing Gurley. If he doesnt play though, we win.

While I would love to upset Georgia, I'm just not sold enough on this team to call it. I think the upsets come against S Car and/or Florida at home.

So you're confident that Missouri is going to break UGA's 15 game home win streak?

If you're Georgia, what's better? Play him at less than 100%, and hope he doesn't aggravate the ankle? And hope he has decent production anyway? Any drag out his recovery possibly time, then not have him down the stretch? Or, do you take the chance that your team can beat Missouri without him and give him another week to recover?

Last year, we had a similar choice with Franklin. We rushed him back, played him at less than 100%, and drug out his injuries all season long. That choice just sucks.

Depends on how far he's progressed. If he's 85% or better and he shows he's ready for the pounding then yea, we need him. If it's really still iffy by game time then I'd rather they just grit their teeth and play JJ Green and Douglas with the game plan leaning on Murray.

I wanted to post this in a thread on the Georgia board today, but was afraid to.

If I was Mike Bobo, I'd put the game in Murray's hands and let him throw. Our run D is pretty strong, but our pass D, other than EJ Gaines, is pretty weak. We also are 2nd in the SEC in sacks, most of that coming from our DEs. Murray could probably shred our secondary, if he has any good receivers left. Murray is a heck of a QB, and a better passer than Franklin - though Franklin also offers the wrinkle that he can run. He ran over and through one of Vandy's LBs last night.

If it weren't at home, I would say there is no way we can win with or without Gurley. With it being at home, I think its a 50/50. I wont make a score prediction but, a lot of points will be scored in that game.
