I really don't care about this argument one way or the other, but I thought I'd throw these out there. You know, just in case you wanted to contact your lawyer about any copyright issues that you think might exist.

Meh the Titans logo doesn't look anything like it and the NP logo looks like a guitar pick but none of that is the point. You know full well we've been using the tri-star logo for a while.

Around 5 years. That logo has been used much longer

I honestly had no idea until you posted a picture. Having lived in Tennessee and knowing the state flag, the tri-star on the Titans and Predators logos/uniforms was very noticeable to me. I really don't even know who was doing it first or even when UT started using it. I know the Titans started when they moved, maybe 1999? And I don't remember when the Predators started using it.

It may be that I see more of their games on tv and have only watched UT games when they are playing Vandy now since they are no longer nationally (or even regionally) relevant.

Subtle.

I couldn't help but get a little shot in there. But everything I said was true. The main reason I never see UT games anymore is that I no longer live in Tennessee so I'm not surrounded by it and there are generally other games on that I'd rather watch.

Nah I get it. I'm mainly bored and wondering why in the hell a concept helmet would be a rip off of something we've been using a great deal. Besides that, this is the only thread where any arguing appears to be going on.

I'm not sure what this argument is about. Tennessee is the State funded University. It only makes since that we would use the Tristar. We should've incorporated it long ago IMO.

Vandy can use it if they want, doesn't really matter

Looks like they copied and pasted Ole Miss and MSU's. Just change the colors and the logos.

Well um they are photoshopped. So that's what they did with all the helmets.....

Bama's "houndstooth" looks like the starter logo. Just no.

And why is Mississippi States Mississippi bigger than Ole Miss' Mississippi?

It looks like the Space Invaders video game to me....
