Great hire for Alabama. Great move for Pruitt.

Can't be true ....I read on this board 6 hours ago that Auburn had hired Charles Kelley

And 38 to Tennessee. We've never had problems scoring on his defense at Georgia.

Good, now he can tear their program apart from the inside with his arse-holery like he did UGA

Posts like this make me realize most of you don't know what the frick you are talking about when it comes to college football.

Pruitt was on the Alabama staff from 2007 to 2012. 6 years. 3 National Championships.

Now he's gonna tear our program apart?

Pruitt's career path is an obtuse triangle of indecision.

2007 to 2012: Alabama (highest position held was secondary coach)
2013: Florida State (defensive coordinator; elevated position)
2014 to 2015: Georgia (huge raise to leave FSU)
2016: Alabama DC (guy who hired him at UGA is fired)

I see one move that may be considered lateral and he got a shite load more money to go.

Don't read too much into it. It was mostly a commentary on how quickly he has changed jobs these last 3 years, not on the quality of the positions.

Not surprised by this he's a good coach and recruiter. I am interested to see how he gets along with Saban, like others have said he has a giant ego but again he's a good coach. I guess I would rather Bama have Pruitt than Auburn or anyone else in the SEC. The rich stay rich. Only part that sucks is he will take some of our recruits but that's just apart of the deal. I do expect Pruitt to take a HC job within 3 years if he does well at Bama...

Alabama about to steal all of UGA's recruits. Game on, Kirby.

Why would they want to downgrade?

I don't see it being an issue. I mean he was on the staff before and knows what to expect. It's not like there is an unknown factor here

He's doing that this year, and half the board cries about it.

Right, like I said he seems to have figured it out.

But no, that game wasn't on Lane.

Again, the defense wasn't great but if they don't go away from Henry Alabama wins that game with relative ease. OSU had no answer for it.

I can't see why anyone would think he would tear down Saban's system...he was there for like 6 years. I also don't understand why UGA is worried about loosing Pruitt's recruits, isn't Kirby a better recruited than Pruitt?

It's just people struggling with the transition. Pruitt was gone the moment Richt was fired.

So Alabama will have Pruitt and Georgia's head coach for the playoffs? Wow.
