This problem is not about Georgia. But I knew you'd show up in this thread. You got denied admission, didn't you? Maybe you should have been better at sports.

We have numerous student-athlete academic scandals in our past to prove that UGA is not above all this.

We aren't talking about one student in one class room.
I volunteered in an inner city school and the lack of respect and the distance they were behind was unbelievable. Learning was almost a sign of weakness for some of the boys specifically.

Winston is a country boy from Alabama. I have worked with many who share the same speech patterns.
At least he didn't sound like Marcel Darius or Courtney Upshaw

If it is a problem at every school, including UGA as you have already admitted and the numbers validate, why do all UGA threads relating to football end up with academic arguments against other SEC schools? Serious question. Seems irrelevant.

College football players are eaten up with dyslexia then.
You would be surprised at the people that have it.

Yeah, just shows how bad inner city schools are.

I thought he was from a suburb of B'ham.

yeah, being a country boy is no excuse for sounding like a retard.

I had 3rd graders telling me they would bring a knife to school and kill me. I'm not proud of what I whispered in that one kids ear.

As someone else pointed out earlier, College Literate, and Illiterate are not the same thing. They are factoring in Math scores as well.
I'm a bunch of years removed from High School/College. I probably would tank on an SAT math section now as I have never needed to use any of those equations for any job I've ever held. And I think that's a problem with public education. They need to be teaching these kids more life skills than ramming quadratic equations down their throat.

You don't have to do fancy math delivering pizzas? Is that what I'm hearing?
I kid, I kid, low hanging fruit joke

You're being dishonest if you think dyslexia is the main cause, or even a factor in this.
