Looks like Georgia was the only SEC team stupid enough to even answer.

FIFY
Unfortunately, I agree. What do we gain by giving them the ammo?

Looks like only about half of the teams even responded...there's a reason for that. Even if you only have one guy reading at a 4th grade level that makes your school look shitty

No way. No way this happens at UGA. UGA is the institution of higher learning on the East coast. Just ask any leg humper. Mark Richt has also lost control of academics at UGA?

Auburn says it is still processing our request for information. The university estimates it could take several years before it provides CNN with an answer. We will update this page when we get it.

I had buddies who were raised in above average homes who went to college and barely could spell or read. This was back in the 1970s. And one of my friends became a high five figure public employee right out of school and worked in this environment for 25 yrs before retiring. He had to issue reports at first by hand and then a secretary was assigned to do all writing/reports for him.

Kids now a days don't know how to read or spell because of the pc era and all the social media and voice activated devices...shame.

Schools aren't supposed to be the ones teaching kids to read. That's the parents job. The schools are there to enhance the kids reading ability. Many kids' parents are failing them. Not the schools. The schools have issues but how can a school be expected to teach a building full of neglected kids everything?

True, but when a school or administrator pushes a kid through the system to the next grade, without having the competency to be at the next grade it is the responsibility of education.

Lots. And lots.

Look at your nearest metro area test scores. They'll probably have 25-30% of the kids reading at grade level in the urban public schools.
