You consider Accounting a liberal arts major?

Accounting majors are just English majors who can't spell. Game theory is where the real players in math go.

The south continues to make its case as one of the most academically prolific regions of the country.

Yes, the AAU, that goes back to the engineering and medical school thing.

The state decided initially to break all that up into separate schools.

There are many schools ranked well below us that are AAU.

One of my best friends is an accountant. I like to make fun of his spelling because he once defended misspelling 'fiduciary' as 'fidicuary' by telling me he won a spelling bee in 5th grade.

Big 1. If you're below 14, you're irrelevant as an academic institution. Why 14, you ask? Because that's how the Rant rolls. We pick arbitrary cutoff points that favor us and troll anyone who falls outside them.

Wasn't Mizzou an AAU member not long ago?

Now they're sub-100 and behind the likes of South Carolina and Alabama?

Ouch.

Son of a ...

I'll say it again: We're gonna leave at least 1/2 of the MS Delta on Arkansas' doorstep, ring the bell and run like hell

Tennessee is tied. You can't leave us out like that when we're ranked the same.

No need. Tennessee has already given us West Memphis.
