What is the reasoning for Auburn to be ahead of Bama? It seems like Bama has taken off as an academic institution since Saban has gotten there.

Auburn is a good state school, Alabama is a good state school. Really not much difference other than some majors that one is better than the other in.

I don't understand how South Carolina can be so low if they have the #1 international business program.

It's probably because everything else there sucks.

Here we go

Both Auburn and Alabama have been getting fricked for years. IT looks like Alabama took a hit and fell several spots.

Something is going on.

Their Methodology is pretty off. They use class sizes in the rankings which is pretty meaningless.

Some of my worst classes were with idiot TA's in a 20 person small class.

If class size is meaningless, it shouldn't affect the rankings, right? Your experience in college isn't going to sway the committee to your liking

By the way, Ohio state and Florida have enormous class sizes yet they rank high on the list.

Alabama was as high as 75th back in 2011-2012.
Auburn was 82nd the same year.
A&M was 58th.

not really, you get a better education from the teacher if they are more hands on with each individual, however several of their other metrics are horrible.

However, schools will manipulate their stats to aid their scores

But . . . but Numberwang told me Ole Miss is a shitty school with an over-inflated ego and that Arkansas is head and shoulders above Ole Miss in every measurable metric.
