DL Jonathan Allen

Top 5 pick, warranted

quote:

LB Reuben Foster

Top 10 pick, warranted

quote:

T Cam Robinson

First round pick with elite potential. He mauls people in the run game. When he is dialed in he has shut down some of the best pass rushers in college football. Started from day 1 at Alabama. He has committed at least one false start penalty in every game of his career (not really but it seems that way)

Probably better suited as a right tackle in the NFL. Doesn't have the prototypical footwork and bend you look for in a left tackle, but he explodes off the ball in the run game and plays with a mean streak

quote:

LB Tim Williams

First rounder, warranted. He is an elite pass rusher that's developed a great arsenal of moves. Violent hands and outstanding first step. Has consistently displayed the ability to bend and turn the corner, which can not be taught. Despite the common misconception, he is strong at the point of attack in the run game, Consistently punches tackles in the chest, locks his arms, and doesn't get pushed backwards. Thick in the lower body, he's a really strong kid and is heavier than he looks.

quote:

CB Marlon Humphrey

First rounder based on physical tools. Not ready to start in the NFL. Elite speed and size for the position but he struggles finding the ball in man coverage. A great zone corner when the action is in front of him, he breaks on the ball as good as anyone we've had when he sees it.

quote:

LB Ryan Anderson

I think he goes in the second round. Patriots struggle passing on guys like Anderson. Thick guy that is hard to handle at the point of attack. All around player with great football instincts. Can rush the passer, play the run, and drop into coverage. He isn't going to wow anyone in the speed or agility drills and he has "tweener" size, but his tape speaks for itself

quote:

TE O.J. Howard

Might be the best pro of the bunch. 6'6" 250 and runs like a gazelle. Sure hands, great blocker, he won't fall out of the first round

quote:

DT Dalvin Tomlinson

2-3 round. Most underrated guy on the defense in my opinion. Strong and a technician. Heavyweight state champ in wrestling for 3 straight years in high school, battled injuries early in his career at Alabama. Cerebral guy on and off the field. Understands when to get his hands into the passing lane, had a thousand deflected passes at bama, and is disruptive in the pass rush despite low sack totals. Not a guy that makes "wow" plays, but he does his job on basically every play. I think 4-3 DT is probably his best spot in the league and he will be an immediate impact guy there.

quote:

SS Eddie Jackson

I think he comes off the board in the third in the event he clears all the medical checks. He's a ballhawk in a passing league with adequate tackling skills. A nightmare with the ball in his hands, one of those guys that looks like he isn't running very fast and all of the sudden he's gotten behind everyone, just a silky athlete is the best way to describe him

quote:

FB Dakota Ball
K Adam Griffith
WR Gehrig Dieter

Won't make a roster. Deiter will make a camp roster and maybe a practice squad. Best blocking receiver saban has had, but there isn't a niche for that in the NFL

You didn't list Ardarius Stewart but he declared and I think he's a 3rd round guy. He was in the top 5% of the most physical players on the team, just plays the game like he is pissed off the entire time. Better speed than people realize, he'll run in the 4.47-4.52 range. Great leaping ability, and a solid built frame. Adequate height for an NFL receiver, I think he's a guy that can feast in the slot. Similar player to Jarvis Landry. Has better measurables but doesn't have the polish that Jarvis had coming out. He doesn't have the same vision with the ball in his hands, but he is a violent runner and arm tackles just don't work on him. Will knock your head off as a blocker. I think he'll play a long time in the NFL

Sorry, this thread won't go how you hoped. Not the best week or place to start a thread discussing football

Darius English might be drafted around 5-6th round. He's way too lean to stand up against a power running game, but has elite quickness and great length as a pass rusher (6'6", 245lb)

TJ Holliman could be drafted late in the 6th or 7th round. Not the most talented or athletic LB you'll ever find, however he is extremely instinctive and smart. Plus he has really good hands, I believe like 8 or 9 career interceptions. Bit small for a LB as well, more of a tweener (6'2, 230 I believe)

Elliott Fry is one hell of a kicker and I believe he will find himself kicking in the pros. Missed one XP his entire career (2013 against UGA) as a freshman. Has a career long of 55.

Mason Zandi is an interesting prospect. 6'9", 315lb. Actually played a bit of TE his freshman year at Carolina. He will get a shot I believe as a RT, much too slow and lean for a LT contract. Footwork needs major improvement. He would definitely be a project, but one that has upside.

Those are really the only ones I see honestly having an NFL future.

I haven't seen any projections of where they might go, but I think the two Ole Miss receivers Stringfellow and Adeboyejo could be steals.

For Bama Ardarius Stewart is going pro also. I think he's an early day 3 pick.

I think Dan Skipper for Arkansas is staying, but I could be wrong.

DE Myles Garrett- Top 3 pick

T Avery Gennesy- Late rounds, overrated IMO

SS Justin Evans- Should be 1st rd, likely 2nd or 3rd. not properply utilized due to being forced into the box almost every play on a bad defense.

DE Daeshon Hall- mid to late rounds. overrated

WR Speedy Noil- undrafted. puff puff pass

WR Josh Reynolds- 2nd or 3rd round. one of most underrated players in the draft

WR Ricky Seals-Jones- mid rounds. maybe most overrated player in draft

QB Trevor Knight- wont be drafted

LB Shaan Washington- late round possibility. has a chance to be a combine warrior

G Jermaine Eluemunor- late round.

almost everyone of our prospects are highly overrated or underrated with the exception of myles garrett, who many of yall think is overrated.

He is a senior, he can't even if he wanted to.

You should. Hes one of those guys that every time he gets the ball I literally hold my breath. Seems like he can take it to the house every time he gets the ball. He reminds me of DJ Chark for LSU except Chark is a little more finesse and Stewart is a little stronger.

DE Derek Barnett - Top 5 pick imo. Dead heat with Eric Berry as the best Tennessee player of the 2000s.

CB Cameron Sutton - Extremely solid player. May have to move inside to nickel but I think he will play in the NFL a long, long time. Coming off an injury but I think he is a 2nd-3rd round guy. A guy you want on your team. Very mature and knows how to handle himself off the field. Will be the consummate professional. Most likely guy on this list to be a 8+ year NFL player outside of Barnett who is a generational type talent imo.

RB Alvin Kamara - Really nice player. Has some boom or bust in him, but I think if he goes to the right situation he could be an every down back. Probably a 2nd-3rd round type grade but he is extremely talented.

WR Josh Malone - Should have come back if there wasn't so much turnover (QB and OC). Prototype physically and a good route runner but seems to coast a lot of time. I would only take a flyer on him late.

LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin - Maybe a little undersized but I think he is a very good football player. Injury and durability questions are a little unfair but shoulder injuries are scary. He, like Sutton, is someone I want on my side. He is a tackling machine and a very good fit in today's game. I think missing almost the entire season is going to cause him to slip until the mid rounds. Will play for a while if he can stay healthy.

QB Joshua Dobbs - Not sure he is an NFL player. Senior Bowl week is very important for him. Really want him to prove me wrong. Seems to be getting 5th-6th round type evals. Most know all about him on and off the field.

RB Jalen Hurd - Not entering draft but would not touch with a 10 foot pole.

DE Corey Vereen - Undersized and benefited greatly from Barnett being on the other size. Hope he makes it but would not project it.

DT Danny O'Brien - Character issues could hurt him. Don't think he will make it.

CB Malik Foreman - Sprinter speed and a pretty solid player. Could easily see him sticking as a UFA and having a lengthy career. Nickel at the next level for sure but has everything you want physically.

I like JRM a lot at the next level. The hybrid linebacker, used to call them "rovers," is making a comeback in the league. Guys that have basically outgrown the safety position but still have those years of coverage experience to fall back on are very valuable in a passing league.

I can tell you that Richie Brown, AJ Jefferson etc on defense regressed this last season. Sirmon was in over his head which makes me wonder why Louisville wanted him. I think we got the better deal.

G Greg Pyke

Struggled at RT after being the starting RG for two years, but based on his earlier success, he probably has a chance to be drafted late in the 6th or 7th.

quote:

WR Isaiah McKenzie

Dynamic return man and improved receiver, but has always had ball security issues. I think the impact of some of the shorter, shifty WRs/returners like Tyler Lockett and Tavon Austin might be a reason some team takes him. No higher than the 7th round.

quote:

FS Maurice Smith

He had a very good senior season and was probably our best DB. However, I think it was his only year starting and it was primarily at nickel rather than safety, so not much tape to evaluate him. Undrafted.

quote:

C Brandon Kublanow

Like Pyke, he was a 3-year starter playing different positions but his play was below par even prior to this year's offensive line disaster. Undrafted.

quote:

G Tyler Catalina
QB Greyson Lambert
LB Tim Kimbrough
SS Quincy Mauger
WR Reggie Davis

I'm fairly certain none of the rest will be drafted and will be lucky to find a free agent deal.

Looks like Pyke and McKenzie are the only ones I see with a realistic shot, and even their chances are pretty thin.

Yeah Where was he in the National Championship game this year? He may be a first rounder but not sold on him. He disappears at times. Pure pass rusher thats about it.Dont see him doing much in the NFL alot like Mingo. Maybe late 1st round early 2nd round.

Louisville thinks that State doesn't have talent. They think Sirmon can succeed with the talent they have at Louisville. That team that destroyed Louisville in their bowl game. State faces that type of team every Saturday. That high powered offense that Louisville scored 9 pts. That is where they lost that game.

One of the better guys you'll meet too. Was accepted to Harvard out of highschool. Has a 4.0 at Alabama and has graduated with 2 finance degrees. He is an artist, plays the trumpet, and is supposedly a pretty good soccer player.

Kid might be my favorite player.

And, I'm pretty sure he is a descendent of Ghengis Khan.

Here is a picture of Kublai Khan from the show Marco Polo for a reference.(yes i know the actor is chinese)

Chasing an elite mobile quarterback

The best pass rushers that ever lived didn't get sacks in every game. It's pretty foolish and comical to try to judge a guy off one game, particularly the last one. That's just recency bias.

quote:

I'm sure you thought Mingo would be a bust when he came out
They're not even close to the same type of player. Mingo relied solely on his speed, while he had elite speed for a guy his size, it wasn't enough to be a productive pass rusher even in college. Williams has uncoachable pass rushing traits and has developed some great technique to go with it. He's further along today as a college senior than Mingo is as a professional in regards to beating a tackle and pressuring a quarterback
