whats w/ the variation on first day of camp? Is it based on max# of formal practices scheduled?
I know most teams have gone away from two a days now, and have 1 scrimmage/live session and 1 or 2 workout sessions.

I'm going to ask probably a stupid question but why do these schools open camps at different dates?

what I thought, you basically have X number of practices, some will schedule earlier, some later and some 2 aday..

Probably biggest stories going into camp:
- How will the guys transition from Neal Brown to Shannon Dawson on offense? From all accounts it's so far, so good. But fall is a different animal than spring.
- Who replaces NFL draftees Bud Dupree and Za'Darius Smith along the line? Stoops seems to indicate it's going to be a "by committee" deal and that depth is improved across the board.
- Can the Cats get over the hump and back into bowl eligibility? UK lost games by 10 points or less (Florida by 6, Mizzou by 10, Louisville by 4) last season.
- Who will be starting QB? This is another that'll go to the wire, but most are sure that it's Towles job to lose.

UGA opens camp tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th...not the 5th.
Georgiadogs.com will be hosting a show throughout practice starting at 3pm (practice starts at 3:30) and will include live look-ins on the actual practice.
