Why not. ESPN gave the Courage Award to Bruce "Caitlyn" Jenner.

The only way to stop this shite is to not tolerate it. So ESPN decides to praise and honor them..unbelievable.

It's all about controversy and ratings. The TMZ of sports.

As a Mizzou fan, I'm not on either side of the fence politically, but can we let this die already?

Why does this continually get brought up over and over. Jesus.

Make no mistake, 99% of our fanbase is outraged and embarrassed by what happened and this foolishness that ESPN is trying to perpetuate. It was a total sham and absolute deception that many of our players emotionally bought into without ever fact checking a thing.

As a diehard MIZ fan this is really weird for this reason: I now hate ESPN and want to see them fail, but it's only because of ESPN and the SEC Network that we are in the best conference in athletics. If ESPN fails, so fails our network, it is a really weird situation.

What doesn't make much sense is we have had several curators fired (step down) and several other administrators "step down" for their incompetence, GP and several other coaches that were supportive of this just so happen to no longer have their jobs this season, Odom has already shown he isn't putting up with that trash in the offseason by ushering out a few players, the vast vast majority of the student body is vocally embarrassed by the BLM con job and now when we seem to be getting our campus in order Spike freaking Lee and ESPN inflame and glorify the whole mess. The BLM Racists are a scourge of Herpes on our University, right when we think their memories dissipate, the people we gave them to (ESPN) have to remind everyone about it.

The exact reason I downgrade my cable package and shut off espn in the off season; it sucks balls.

Mizzou is a fine university.
Don't give ESPN an ounce of "outraged" energy.
Anyone with even a pea-sized brain can see how the network is trying to use MU.

The truth does not have to fit the narrative, the narrative of a University mired in racial strife and a brave football team standing up for what is right... that is the story they are telling.

Never mind that the facts don't fit or that if you want to find real racist or sexist behavior on a college campus ESPN can stroll out their front door and visit any of the Ivy League schools.

Mizzou has nothing to do with what happened in Ferguson, but they are designated fall guy in sports for that event. Other then grit your teeth and wait for this to finally die there isn't a thing y'all can do about it. It sucks, but y'all are stuck with it.

The SEC should go to Fox and start trying to negotiate a deal with them to host the SEC Network once the contract with ESPN expires. Fox already covers a large bulk of Pac 12 and Big 12 games. Why not give them a shot at the SEC?

The vast majority of SEC fans think the Mizzou stuff is completely ridiculous. Unfortunately, they are stuck having to support ESPN because they still want to watch their teams play.

This is ridiculous. I wake up every day just expecting something bad or stupid to happen now. Used to, everything was pretty much the traditional way and there weren't many problems. Now everything has to be liberal and there's problem after problem. I'm about ready to go off on every liberal person I come in contact with. It's always "Be liberal or your wrong". ESPN doing this is bad but nothing will ever top them giving that award to Bruce Jenner over that girl who died of cancer. That makes me sick and I'll never respect ESPN one bit after that. I already got in an argument with someone once after I said that Bruce didn't deserve it over her. This girl told me "Well 'Caitlyn' is an inspiration to many". HES A MAN WHO TURNED INTO A WOMAN! HOW IS THAT INSPIRATIONAL?!......

I had to let that out.....nothing to see here
