when faced with mounting racial tensions on campus, the Tigers banded together, threatening to boycott a game against BYU unless university president Tim Wolfe stepped down.

The football team’s protest garnered national attention and the Tigers will be honored by ESPN for their efforts.

you've gotta be fricking kidding me.

The only way to stop this shite is to not tolerate it. So ESPN decides to praise and honor them..unbelievable.

What about honoring the women's college basketball player that died of cancer or the war veteran?

I wish they would have pulled that boycott crap later in the game week. They did it early in the week to let the political pressure build. They should have just let all the third string guys get a chance to play. That would have been a great story with the nation probably cheering on the walk-ons. I hate politics of race and how it even infects people who simply otherwise do not see everything as a race issue.

My boss is a longtime Mizzou ticket holder and he was bighly in favor of kicking everyone of those guys off the team when this shite happened.
