Total fluke. Coach Saban has the perfect call but the d backs must have tripped or been blinded by a laser pointer from the crowd or something

No way. Give Coach Saban a month to prepare and he'd beat the Seahawks by 3 scores.

Players weren't into it cause it's not the bowl game they really wanted.

They can't get motivated for non championship games... It's the championship or bust for these players... They'll win the next two ships because we surely remember what happened after Utah... Everybody should just quit now...

Well no way OU beats Bama as bad as LSU did. Because OU doesn't have near the QB, Oline, or WRs that LSU has to take care of Bama's craptastic CB's.

Which was LSU's biggest win of the year? Auburn over Bama or Okie?

Probably beating Auburn on their own field by two touchdowns.

Haven't seen nearly as many threads started by LSU fans about that. It's all good, I realize they hurt.

Complete shite show. There was no reason for Alabama to loose 2 games with the talent advantage they had [have] over anyone. They've had the #1 recruiting class for 5-6 years.

Goes to show you CFB relies on recruiting -- obviously Saban understands this (e.g. Saban at MSU)

Eta: Now let's compare him to Miles at OSU where he was in a very similar situation to Saban (both prior to LSU).

95% of the time, talent wins you games. It'd be interesting to see all coaches with equal talent.

Exactly what I always say.

It's what makes Coach Spurrier so impressive.

Taking a job at a second tier school like usc and building them into an annual contender has been amazing. There is no way that saben would have the courage or the coaching ability to do something like that. Without all the best talent, the process is good for 8-4 every year.

Miles came into just as good a situation at LSU as Saban did. Dinardo was stacking that roster ever year he was there, just couldnt coach worth a damn.
