I read the other thread on it and it seems that a lot of bama fans are thinking that Blake Sims has the starting role next year. It looks like I am in the minority, but I am not so sure.
For those who say the others behind Sims do not have much experience, keep in mind that Phil Sims didn't have any snaps either (he redshirted) and Saban gave him an equal opportunity to compete for the starting job against AJ. I wouldnt be surprised if it is a similar battle that goes into the season for the starting job.
I would also be surprised if we changed our system for one year to accommodate Sims. Just look at the quarterbacks behind Sims and the ones that we have recruited for the future. All seem to fit the pro-style quarterback mold.
Also, didn't Saban say during the summer that next year's quarterback might not even be on campus yet?

Sumlin plays the best player regardless of classification. I wouldn't be shocked to see Allen beat Hill out for the job. None of us thought that some no-name freshman 3* was going to beat Showers out for the job last year.

I expect Cooper Bateman to be the starter for Bama.
I also expect Parker McLeod to be dismissed from the team. Nothing he did, just get rid of him.

After I compared Mauk and Printz performance at training camp I realized Mauk will be on the bench for his Mizzou career...

He's undefeated as a backup 4-0 and beat 2 ranked teams on the road, so yeah, he's the best SEC QB in 2014.
One of those teams was clemson, so he's better than Erin Murray or Mettenburger.

Hill will probably be starting for A&M next year, and somehow I very much doubt that Allen is going to redshirt. Get Kyler Murray in 2015 and RS him, and we are set for the next four or so years.
