Wow, this makes it all worth it now. 3andOut has family split between LSU/A&M. Well my family is split between LSU and Southern Miss fans. So we don't care anything about an Aggie. You know that there are tens of thousands of people that actually attend the games. This is who the game affects, not you and your family that like to watch the games on tv.

Never in my life have a seen a fanbase cry as much about scheduling as you swamp kittens. Dry your tears up kid.

get used to eating your turkey and watching the aggies. its gonna happen so stop crying... its embarrassing.

i have never seen this. i would need some proof to believe it. and you know damn well why LSU fans are not happy with playing 2 of the top cross divisional teams while bama plays none. if you can't understand that you are a fool. i think you do understand it, you just like that it gives bama a huge advantage, fair or not. i'm sure you were pretty happy to get to drop georgia this year and pick up kentucky. but it is much bigger than that; if unfair schedulign continues to rule the day it is bad for the SEC. you are going to have some teams and fans that get legitimately and permanently pissed off. i guarantee you there are other conferences that would love to come and pick off a team or two. if you don't think that could happen you are not thhinking long term. just because the SEC is on top right now doesn't mean it will stay that way. i think we need to either go to a 9 team schedule, which i prefer, or simply eliminate permanent cross rivals and go pure rotation; a rotation that IS THE SAME FOR ALL.

Whelp...guess who is dropping a top SEC East team and picking up Kentucky in 2014....LOL

But give it a few years and you will come to like it.

Not how that works

I for one am excited about this because my family is basic 50/50 Aggies and Tigers so being able to watch the games with everyone as a family will be very enjoyable and hopefully a tradition future Tiger/Aggie generations will look forward to, just as us younger Aggies did with the Longhorn game.

Thats wonderful for you, but not the case for 99% of LSU fans.

Yep, that's what LSU said about playing on Thanksgiving

Well we've played in Jax since the early 1930s except for 2 years when the stadium was rebuilt..so I think it's a little different.

Aggies opening up the year on Thursday night at South Carolina in 2014. Beats the hell out of Vandy-Ole Miss.

Depends on who LSU and A&M play before that game. Fri was a short week and now it just got shorter. If LSU is stuck with a conf game and A&M gets a bye or non conf I will be pissed!

correct, which is why the teams hash out the date, not the conference. The conference decides the week

quote:

Cue the whiners if LSU makes conf title game and has two extra days off going up against UGA, Fla or USC playing against rivalry games. I'm sure Richt will start whining now.

Hence why the iron bowl was forced to move to the following week, several years ago

doubt it.

According to LSU fans, we should drop the permanent crossover opponent and move the UGA-UF game away from its traditional home in Jacksonville. UGA would give up most of what is sacred to us about this conference. Frick that

how many games have you guys not played at night compared to the rest of the conference?

I looked it up. Last year, no one in the SEC West played more conference night games than LSU

By the way, LSU and A&M won't be playing on Thanksgiving when the game is in Baton Rouge according to The Advocate. So what's the big deal?

Don't confuse their simple minds.

*shrug* it is what it is. Aggies get their gimmick date game so they can try to one up big brother... the inferiority complex never ends.

Personally I would rather have Thxgiving with family and then head to College Station, but apparently I will be spending thxgiving surrounded by rotting bat shite. C'est la vie

So terribly misinformed. We actually tried to KEEP the game vs Texas as a yearly thing. Texas declined.

Well yea. But if we really wanted it that bad we could have just stayed in the Big 12. Technically we did give it up. It just wasn't by choice.

Actually, LSU fans should be pissed at DeLoss Dodds for being so butthurt when we had the stones to leave he decided they weren't going to play us anymore.

Had he been a man about it A&M/Texas would still be on Thanksgiving and LSU would still be playing Arkansas at the end of the season.

UF SEC schedule for 2014 per Gator writers:

@ Tennessee
vs. Kentucky
vs. LSU
@ Alabama
vs. Missouri
vs. UGA* (Jacksonville)
@ Vanderbilt
vs. South Carolina

Finish year @ Florida State.

11-1 locks in a NCG spot with that schedule if they win the SEC. 10-2, or 9-3 would be a good season too.

EDIT: Order of Bama and LSU games may not be right, but the opponents are set.

The only thing LSU fans and administration care about is LSU. They could give a frick less how other teams are affected. It's LSU's world, we are just lucky to be living in it...apparently.

And I bet not one UF fan is going to bitch and moan about having to play LSU & Bama back to back because y'all aren't a bunch of whiny tailed twats.

Good luck with Kentucky and Tennessee this year.

You guys barely escaped Missouri and Tennessee last year.

Mizzou again?

Was really hoping for UGA.
