Again, all he asked was for a fan projecting an Ole Miss win. I found one. The replies are by other fans not saying that.

When was the last time we had real potential and didn't live up to it? 2009?
Ok. When were the other times?

Perhaps. So what does that make of Eddie's statement?

I don't know probably a long time. Yall are pretty fricking terrible usually.
Posted on 9/24/14 at 6:17 pm to CheeseburgerEddie
So why did you say what you did if you don't know what the frick you're talking about?
Posted on 9/24/14 at 6:18 pm to OBReb6
technically it was a question..

We were preseason 10 in 09 and finished 20. Didn't live up to expectations
I can't remember another time being in the preseason top 20 in my lifetime. So it's not some kind of epidemic of us not living up to hype like the illusion you're creating. We have one season to base that off of in modern history.
How many times has OM faced Alabama as a top 10 team? Must be dozens with all the times we haven't lived up to the hype, eh?

I think you are projecting my man. I just asked when the last time you delivered was. I'll believe it when I see it.

Kind of like your dick huh? You're pretty sure it's down there over that fatass gut, but you really need to see it just for confirmation. Prayers sent gump.

Ok Im getting sick of reading this pissing contest. Please give me a detailed synopsis on why Ole Miss will beat Alabama. This way we can see if you actually know anything about football or if you are just a chatty kathy who likes to shout hotty toddy.

1. Our defense, mainly our secondary is top tier in the SEC.
2. Bo has been playing the best ball of his career since the first half of Boise St. Y'all's secondary hasn't been all that great this year aside from Landon Collins
3. Your defense is young; good, but young.
4. First road test for Blake Simms
With that being said, I think Yeldon wears us down and y'all take it 28-17.

I think OM can do better this season than last, but let's face it -- OM is extremely unproven right now. Nobody knows exactly how they'll do against a major opponent (I don't count a Chris Petersen-less Boise. Not y'all's fault he left after the game was scheduled, but that's how it goes.) What I'd be worried about vs Bama is the system shock. They've already taken on two major conference opponents, so they're more likely to be in the groove. If I had to guess, I'd say it's likely to be a relatively high-scoring affair. Not quite a track meet, but close, with Bama pulling out a winning margin of a couple scores. 41 to 30 or somewhere in that range.

The recipe to beat Alabama is to have a QB throwing into tight windows and/or running like crazy.
Ole Miss won't run at all with their backs or with Wallace so Wallace is going to have to be pretty much perfect throwing the ball.
If he does that it's a ballgame. If he doesn't it won't be.

I think our D is being under sold and I'm ok with that.

Then picked up here, and I dont think itll be that close, but we will see. If we dont give you 4 turnovers then I dont see you scoring 17. I also think we score 35+. You have great safeties, not great corners. Cooper will abuse you, see VH3

I think your D is really good.
Don't think your O matches up well with us at all (outside of your really good WR's).

I do think Sims may have trouble on the road so there's an actual point. Hopefully he puts more doubters away
