OM might be the scariest team in the West. Not necessarily the best, but the scariest. Sure, MSU just upset LSU, and TAMU has started off spectacularly on offense(and decently on defense) but OM is a talented team with a reasonably good defense and a coach that likes to burn teams on the up-tempo short cuts that get the team marching steadily down the field. Freeze's use of fast short passing routes makes it difficult to stop them completely.

Also, I rather imagine that, this year, they'll actually take those FGs rather than leave the points on the field.

All I'm going to say is that if State can break the curse against LSU, Ole Miss most certainly can with Bama. I was initially pissed about State winning that game, but I'm thinking it may be a good omen for us

Then again the game is in Oxford so we'll probably get curb stomped.

You haven't had to play an Ole Miss team with a pulse in Oxford since 2009. Not saying we'll win. Just saying that You're not going to have the crowd at your back if the game gets difficult. Hugh Freeze took two young teams into tuscaloosa the past two years. This year is different.

No it hasn't you lying cocksucker. Provide links to every one of those years with all these win predictions.

Yeah, I really don't think a sizable portion of our fanbase has thought we may beat Bama since 2009. This is just Bama being a bunch of idiots, and misremembering things.

No one even in 2009 thought we would win because we got our asses beat by a shitty South Carolina team the week before.

Yeah, I drank the kool-aid before the SC loss, but went in a bit pessimistic now that I think of it, not that I remember much about that day.

I keep trying to go back to find threads, I'll actually do the leg work and pull some quotes from last year if you want. Problem is, going back on the forum only goes to page 100. Perhaps there's another way?

Or can you just shut up and admit there were threads made last year predicting Ole Miss to beat Bama.

Think about it, Bama just came off having a terrible game against Colorado State, Ole Miss had just beaten Texas handedly and was ranked for the first time in awhile.

Yeah, I can't imagine what it's like to face a crowd of 65,000. Talk about frightening!

I think Ole Miss matches up well with Bama this year. With their defense against Bama's high powered O. I think the game will come down to how well the Ole Miss offense does against that Bama secondary.

I want to say the game is a toss up but I wont be surprised if it does go the way of 2013 either. Could end up being the best game of the weekend.

You're getting awfully defensive there. No need to get sand in your vagina.

Ole Miss HAS the talent, there's no denying that but talking a big game and walking it are completely seperate entities. How about proving it for once rather than running your mouths? Bo Wallace talked a bunch of shite instead of accepting the fact that Alabama wins a lot of football games based on their defense alone and owning up to the fact that to win, they'll have to be at their best.

He said simular shite against us last year and even though we got screwed by the fact we had to go to Oxford 2 years in a row to play, we won both games. If Hugh Freeze has any brains, he'll invest in a shitload of duck tape until game day.

Last year

quote:

My predictions go like this:

Ole Miss- 24
Bama- 21

Bama has been playing sloppy on offense lately and I think that will continue!

First thread I found. I keep getting threads started this year in the search engine. But again, there were posts. There are always posts predicting big upsets because people like to bump shite and look smart when it does happen and know no one will remember it when they are wrong.

Omg one thread made by an alter

The guy said that every year OM fans talk up about beating Alabama. The guy is a liar and you're wasting your time trying to justify him.

Keep on digging if you wish, or you can look right here and me saying yall are going down this year. Think Saban gets a brick through his window?

Again, that was the first thread I found and judging by your post it won't matter if I find 10 threads. You'll just say it never happened.

I'm hearing you now and I'll make sure to save your responses for next year.

That's why I'm making them, so these posts can be bookmarked and makes next year's threads justifiable.

when was the last time Ole Miss delivered on their potential and promise? I'll believe it when I see it.

Did you read the replies in that thread? It actually shows the opposite of what you are trying to find proof of.
