Wow.

Tre White and Duke Williams got absolutely robbed.

LSU shouldn't have any more players on offense, but we had the #1 defense in the league and that is WITH the worst offense. Yet we have no first teamers?

And our best DB didn't even get second team but maybe our most inconsistent DB (albeit still good) makes it. WTF.

Happy for Ronald, but WTF for Tre White? He went Man to man on the best WRs in the league all year on an island and was GREAT.

Know how I know you didn't watch a single Ole Miss game all season?

Dude straight ATE against Boise, Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Mississippi State.

I think he was in the backfield 50.00% of the snaps he took against Mississippi State.

Or maybe he should not have raped that girl? How about that?

He's so overrated it isn't even funny. ULL and Presbyterian ate his lunch, no recorded stats. This is apparently FIRST team SEC worthy. I have no idea how they justify that.

Happy for La'el, Kwon, and Martin. Especially La'el, he played himself into the first round by coming back this year.

Yep...

Im actually thrilled for Ronald Martin. He got a lot of hate last year by LSU people and nobody realized how hard a year he had last year. His father passed away early on in the season after battling cancer for year. So he had that happen in the first 3 weeks of the season. Then he breaks a bone in his foot, tries to keep playing, and hurts it even worse. Thats a lot for anyone to handle. Horrible year for them last year outside of football with the passing of his father. And he comes back this year and was extremely improved and was 1 of our better players. Congrats to him

But... no Tre White on that list?

They don't need to. No one takes these things very seriously. They are just nice for the players.

No you're right. My comments are more for the Ole Miss fans who think he's actually a consistent enough contributor to be taken serious as something beyond a "Randy Moss" play when I wanna play athlete. The guy from Arkansas was a better performer this year, no doubt about it.

Right.

He is a pass rushing defensive end, right?

No, you stupid corndog frick. He is a havoc wreaking defensive tackle who clogs the interior offensive line.

Go back to the Tiger Rant and write more letters to the FBI about Alabama paying the referees.

Nick Saban should be coach of the year. Dan Mullen had the most experienced team of any SEC school coming back and he had Dak Prescott. Saban was dealing with youth all over his roster as well as a RB turned starting QB.

Explain to me how we were more experienced when you have 15-16 starters going to the draft this year, 13 of them seniors. I'll hang up and listen to this spin.

Oh. Then you may not know. Just in case, please be advised that Fournette didn't make first team, second team, or honorable mention.

He also didn't get Freshman of the Year. That would be Chubb's award now.

So, y'know, deal with it and stuff.

i actually stop reading the list when I got to his name. SEC East is pathetic

Nick Chubb thinks the SEC West is pathetic

Chubb:
30 carries 202 yards vs. Arkansas (UGA win)
19 carries 144 yards vs. Auburn (UGA win)

Fournette (same opponent):
51 total yards, both games getting an arse whipping (L vs. Auburn, L vs. Arkansas)

Chubb's a good player. Not sure why anyone would fight that selection.

Since he's so overrated, watch him be selected the #1 overall draft pick next year

I still don't think you understand how defense works, nor am I really surprised at that.

He's a tremendous athlete. If they made an award for best combine performance, I'd take him. But, the fact remains that he had six games with 0 solo tackles. 2 games in which he didn't register a single stat. Only 2 sacks on the year. One tackle against Auburn who ran the ball 46 times. 4 assists against LSU who ran the ball 55 times. He's one dimensional at this stage in his career and has no business being on the first team in a league like the SEC with actual good, full game defensive linemen.
