This is the net yards gained vs the net yards given up per game. About what I thought with a few exceptions. I rounded to the nearest yard.

1) Bama +156
2) UGa +121
3) OM +90
4) MSU +89
5) AUB +86
6) Ark +83
7) LSU +71
8) Fla +38
9) Miz +21
10) SC +11
11) Ten + 6
12) A&M + 5
13) Ken -23
14) VU -114

Not possible. Ole Miss defense is overrated.

I was afraid to look. After our defense hit the showers half way through the season, a negative number would not have shocked me.

I'm shocked we even came in at 10 with the pitiful defense we fielded last year.

Oh...and Vandy...wtf?

Is this using only SEC play? Would be more relevant, IMO.

And Mizzou wins the East, and AGAIN has the best schedule in the East.

Yards are worthless if you don't put up the points.

Show me a plus minus on points.

I think the ability to take ground or not give ground is pertinent. You can crunch your own statistics if you like, I don't work for you.

Mizzou was the most SEC team in the country last season: #13 total offense in conference games and #1 total defense in conference games. Old man football.

Chubb averaged less than four yards a carry. That game wasn't on our defense. It was on Mauk not being able to convert any first downs and turning the ball over a bunch of times.

99 yards and 0 points is worthless. I'd gladly give up 1000's of yards per game if it meant a 3-0 victory.

As would we all. However, if you can't move the ball, or you can't stop people from moving the ball, that shite is going to eventually catch up to you and you are gonna lose a bunch of games. So I think this statistic has merit.
