Pretty sure State loses 7 or 12 games next year.

3-5 for Auburn is a big improvement because that would mean going on the road for a couple wins and that would put us with 6 or 7 wins which is about where I expect us to be. We have fallen a long fricking way from winning a championship and in just two years.

For Auburn to win 3 or more games in the SEC, our defense will have to improve leaps and bounds and our offense will have to be straightened back up to solid.

I projected Georgia losing to South Carolina, LSU, Vanderbilt, and Auburn, but not Florida.

I'm forecasting Georgia to struggle to replace the personnel they are losing from a defense that frankly wasn't very good this year in the first place. I also think they'll have a bit of a letdown after coming so close to getting to the big game this year but failing. Then you consider Richt's lack of consistency over the years, the home field advantage that Franklin is building at Vandy, and catching a hungry Auburn team on the road late in the season after Gus has had a chance to work his magic, and I'd be worried if I were a Georgia fan. That's all I'm saying.

It's nothing personal, just an honest projection.

I have Auburn beating Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Georgia.

Unless our defense improves, we won't be winning the UGA game. However I would say that I think we will beat Arkansas. They will be in a transition and should be venerable to a loss. LSU is another game I think we can win unless their offense improves.

Yeah and you're pretty much off on everything. We lose 7 starters on defense yes, but that defense was average at best. Our defense next year won't suck, we have talent, so it will not be much worse. It really won't if you look at who we have coming back and who has experience. Then you look at the offense. We have all but one receiver returning. An offense that led the nation in yards per play who returns a 5th year senior qb who will break every sec passing record available to him. Or he can just hand the ball off to the second leading rusher in the sec behind all 5 returning offensive linemen who played exceptionally well towards the end of the season. Don't forget Marshall is one of the fastest players in the conference, therefore the country.

If we lose 4 conference games I will never post here ever again. Your analysis is pretty much crap because you put WAY too much stock in who we lose on D when they didn't play well anyway. Also we beat vandy by 45 this year. We won't lose to them.

If Georgia is one of the 3 wins, who are the others? Mizzou and Kentucky? You think home field is enough to beat Georgia but not Ole Miss?

Yes, Missouri and Kentucky. I have Ole Miss as a breakout team. Think theyre poised to take LSU's spot for third in the west. Again, just my projection.

That's fair. I would have put us at 4-4 with a win in Knoxville, but that might be a tad homerish.

Overall record: 62-56

Hmm...me thinks this does not compute.

If we (Hogs) go 4-4 in conference next year with new coaching staff, new system, new QB, and a pretty damn tough schedule (tougher than Bama's), it will be a good start for CBB. Of course we hope for better, but most knowledgeable Hog fans would take that right now. For next year only.
