Say what you will about the op, but at least it's mathematically possible. Unlike some predictions I've seen bandied about of late.

What about ALL THE OTHER STUFF I posted? No comment or was it "I disagree".

All that talent coming back on "O"? That "O" did do quite well against your tide. Or that tiger back seven on "D" as is will be better than the '12 edition? LSU's top four wide receivers had more receptions than bama's top four. I would bet LSU returns more rushing yards than bama. More talent along the O-line also.

Not counting on too many of those true freshman, just stating a fact. But, yes some of them will see the field. Some might end up starting. Only time will tell.

Couple of questions for you tidesack.

Heard of Brockers before '11? How bout Logan? Minter before the '12 season? Jeremy Hill? Landry? Turner? Alexander? Collins? Mills?

How bout bama? Losing three allamerican first round picks off the O-line. Starting TE. Leading rusher. Starting D-line. Allamerican CB and allamerican safety.

Before UGA was five yards from the BCSNCG, LSU was five yards from the SECCG.

I recognize how close LSU was this year, despite playing down to weaker competition most of the year. But they were also equally as close to losing 5 games. And that's just the nature of the game, a razor thin margin between the big game and the lowly Chickfila bowl. I just don't think LSU will be as good this year losing all of the talent that has carried the defense over the last two years. I'm sure they'll have decent replacements, but I just see them taking a step back...and the margin was just that thin. 3-5, final projection.

And bama was just as close to being a THREE GAME LOSER.

By my count this is what each team returns on "D"
as for players that saw legit defensive action in games not just special team snaps.

bama
DL - 4
LB - 5
DB - 6
tot- 15

tide's numbers are based on on field production (game stats). Numbers might be off but, not by much.

LSU
DL - 4
LB - 7
DB - 6
tot- 17

LSU numbers are based on on field production (game stats) and players I know played significant minutes on defense in games.

The only possible dropoff on the tiger defense is in the D-line. As good as Montgomery and Mingo are their '12 numbers were down from previous season. Logan will be missed more in the middle. If Freak and Ego step up tiger defense will be OK.

I don't think bama "o" will be as good. Losing too much along the OL plus big time blocking TE. It's hard for any QB to complete passes if he's sitting on his arse. I don't care how good you think those tide wideouts are.

I don't see 3 wins for Mizzou next year, long way to go for that program.
