Not sure where we would be ranked if the schedule was reveresed, but I'd say around 5-6.

You think it would be that high of a jump?

I would say everyone in the rankings from the SEC is about right, except for Auburn. They probably don't deserve to be ranked based on their team this year, but I can see them in the Top 25 simply because they are the defending champs.

They'll be lucky make a bowl game though, IMO.

Yea I agree with where everyone's at except auburn. I know their defending champs but still I have a hard time seeing them higher than 23rd.

If LSU beats Oregon by 10+ do they jump to #1?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

if Oregon looks like they are not up to last years team, and should struggle to get past Stanford to win the PAC12, no.

if its a great game between two great teams, yes.

Then the next big one is Okies vs Florida State at Florida State.
I will be rooting for Florida State in that one, as Okies play no one else the rest of the year.

Fagship got punked. Not that that poll means much but hard to come up from 14 if there are others with the same record

I would say LSU would jump all the way to #3. I only say this cuz the gap is too big between 2 and 3. But, definitely not impossible.

Big ifs here but if SC beats ECU and UGA beats BSU and in week 2 SC takes down UGA in Athens.. SC could be sitting pretty close to the top 5.

too high. They have too many tough games. They are set up to lose 1 or 2.

quote:

3.Oregon (2)

is this a joke? They lose almost everyone on the o.line and at wr and lose most if not all of the front 7 on D

quote:

7.Boise State

way too high. They lost their best 2 wr's and alot of D.

quote:

16.Ohio State

way too high. They've lost a coach, a qb, and most of their best players for the first 5 weeks. They will lose at least 2 games in the first 6 weeks.

quote:

19.Auburn

they'll be lucky to win 7 games. They have alot of talent but it will need a year.

I believe the early rankings should be delayed until 2 or 3 games into the season. It just makes more sense to me.
