aTm had better beat them. I want the Aggies coming off of a big win and possibly be ranked somewhere close to #5 when we play them.

If that game at Kyle isn't a blood bath I might drop my life savings on Arkansas to win/cover the following week. Ok St has no business in the top 10

I'm not at all worried about where LSU jumps to or doesn't jump to after the Oregon game.

If LSU takes care of business and finishes the season as SEC champions with 1 loss or less, LSU is a lock for the title game given the schedule.

Oklahoma St. and A&M are way to high. What the hell has A&M done to deserve that ranking?

A & M returns pretty much everyone from last year, except Von Miller. Miller is gonna be a big loss though, I think his loss is really going to be noticed.

Come on, DGD. We beat Oklahoma by 14 too! And we were only 17 points worse than LSU

I'd swap Arkie and Okie Lite....

Okie Lite still has a porous Defense and they lost their mastermind Holgerson. They'll be tough, but they aren't top 10.

A&M returns 19 starters..... and get Christine Michael, Michael Barrera and a healthy EZ Nwachkuwu.

I'd put us anywhere from 8-13. Looks like the coaches took my upper end.

I'm hoping Arkie beats Bama and Ags beat Okie Lite for a #5 vs. #6-7 matchup in October.

Oh, and just to stir the pot a bit... Add A&M & Mizzou to the SEC West & you have 7 of the 8 SEC West schools in the Top 25.

Some things never change

Purely based off us playing @ both Bama and LSU. Not sure where we would be ranked if the schedule was reveresed, but I'd say around 5-6.

Voters must have forgot that Texas still doesn't have an offensive or defensive line.....

Games are won in the trenches and the Whorns still lack severely there.

Nope, his natural position.... Defensive Tackle... He's up to 310 LBS. and playing interior Dline. That's why he was so highly rated out of High School, but we were low in depth at OT in 2009 and he was agile enough to move over. When we got Matthews and Joeckel in, he got moved back to Dline where he was doing very well until he hurt himself in fall camp last year.

I was thinking the same when I saw BK listed his name. Bequette just forced JJ out of bed and the alarm clock was thrown into the cheap apartments on the third floor ...

Yes, he was a true freshman and freshman all american and expected All Big 12 this year. 4 star OT out of Dallas. His brother is our backup QB. 4 star QB, Matt Joeckel.

Bruce Matthews kid, Jake, is our starting RT and was a true fresh last year. He was a 5 star OT.... future is bright there.
