Oregon losing to a 2 loss USC team on probation is forgiven, but Arkansas sucks for losing by a few scores to two of the most dominant CFB teams in recent memory...interesting.

And you've demonstrated several times you don't know what "moving the goalposts" means.

And yet Oregon didn't lose by 20+ to good teams like y'all did.

Nevermind.

I bet if I really looked I could find at least 2 or 3 others.

The polls that ranked Arkansas in the top 5 didn't.

obviously Okie State is ahead of you too

Fair enough, but they would have gotten destroyed by LSU or Alabama too. The loss on their résumé is much worse than either Arkansas loss.

Thank god they scored a TD in the last 30 seconds of the LSU game to fit your criteria. I also laugh at the idea of LSU and Alabama being merely "good."

I'm just using your logic that a 2-10 Ole Miss team y'all only beat by 5 was "good." Can't have it both ways.

When did I claim Ole Miss was "good?" Arkansas won the game. If OK State could say the same for their game against Iowa State, LSU's 2011 team would have a legitimate GOAT argument.

ETA: So I see you've changed the argument from bad losses to "bad" wins. That is moving the goalposts.

You're the one trying to have it both ways, not me. Do tell us more about how that Arkansas team supposedly would've won it all any other year though.

Who the frick said this?

Are you retarded?

ETA: The 2010 team was actually better than the 2011 team, but the 2010 team was not a top 5 team which is what was being disputed.

Over 100 polls and computers say that Arkansas wasn't top 5 in 2011. Do tell us how they're all wrong and you're right though.

An average of 128 polls and computers say otherwise, but okay.
Looks like you won't be bitching about 1964 anymore too. Busted.

You are having one of those self loathing days again aren't you? We've talked about this Korin.

Well at least you aren't cutting yourself.

If we agree that we were horrible that year do you promise to take your medication tomorrow?

The circumstances surrounding the final polls I cited and those polls were quite different, but you already knew that.

Alabama against Ole Miss: 52-7
LSU against Ole Miss: 52-3 (and mercy knee'd with 5 minutes left)
Arkansas against Ole Miss: 29-24

One of these isn't like the others...

The accuracy of the post isn't what makes it bad. Your inability to follow the basis of a fairly simple argument amuses me though. Keep trying.

You're comparing 2011 Arkansas to two of the most dominant teams in SEC history. This was never the argument.

Arkansas finished the season 11-2. Their two losses were a 41-17 rout at the hands of LSU and a 38-14 rout at the hands of Alabama. They finished #5 in both polls that year.

If not for being in the same division as the BY FAR best two teams in college football that year...

Makes you wonder how they would have finished in another conference. I think Arky would have won most of them.

Last year's Clemson team lost to Pitt and barely beat Troy and NC State.

They must have sucked.
