Watched that right behind the goal posts in our fratdaddy section with my dad and 3 LSU buddies. Was a brutal loss, but a fun memory.

Better student section

Student section has been night and day better. There was a 2-3 years stretch there from 2012-2014 or so when the student section was an abomination.

I think around '13 is when the student section starting become more active and louder. The Ole Miss game that year was deafening, especially when we got the safety. LSU at home was crazy too as soon as Howard bust loose.

I was a senior in 2007. Kids in our class had only been students at Alabama during the Mike Shula era up to that point, and basically only been alive and cognizant during the end of Stallings, DuBose, Fran, Price and Shula eras.

We were basically like rabid wolves.

I had forgotten this but 17 of LSU's starters in 2007 were part of Nick Saban's '03 and '04 recruiting classes.

False. Just off the top of my head all these 07 starters were recruited after Saban left for the Dolphins-- Demetrius Byrd, Ciron Black, Trindon Holliday, Brandon LaFell, Darry Beckwith, Lyle Hitt, Ricky Jean Francois, Keiland Williams, Richard Dickson, Danny McCray,Jacob Cutrera etc. And there may be more. 2007 LSU actualy had a lot of young starters. Not to mention contributors like Chad Jones and Terrance Tolliver who were freshmen All Americans on that team.

I still got pissed at that bullshite roughing the passer call on 3rd and 12 after JPW threw an incomplete pass.

Then CBS got it wrong.
11 of the 22 starters for LSU in the 2007 BCSNCG were Miles recruits.
The other 11 starters never got off the bench at LSU when Saban was there.

As aforementioned:
These 07 starters were recruited
"""""""""""" after """""""""" Saban left for the Dolphins -- Demetrius Byrd, Ciron Black, Trindon Holliday, Brandon LaFell, Darry Beckwith, Lyle Hitt, Ricky Jean Francois, Keiland Williams, Richard Dickson, Danny McCray,Jacob Cutrera etc.
And there may be more. 2007 LSU actually had a lot of young starters. Not to mention contributors like Chad Jones and Terrance Tolliver who were freshmen All Americans on that team.
