Why are so many posters on here so fricking stupid?

You could have generated a decent discussion. Let me help you with your OP:

Sitting at work bored and watching some old highlights on YouTube. Everyone remembers how stacked the backfield was that year, but has there been any discussion on how good the receivers were?

Devin Aromashodu
Ben Obamanu
Anthony Mix
Courtney Taylor

Two five star receivers coming out of high school and all four went on to the NFL. Aromashadu and Obamanu had really good careers as well. Shame Courtney Taylor suffered from injury issues.

Yeah. LSU 2011 had odell beckham jr., jarvis landry, reuben randle, russell shepard, James wright, and kadron boone. 5 of then are still in the nfl and play. I would say that's a better wr core lol.

2006 LSU:
Craig Davis - 1st round
Dwayne Bowe - 1st round
Early Doucet - 3rd round
Brandon LaFell - 3rd round

2008 UGA had AJ Green, Mohamed Massaquoi, and Kris Durham. Green is one of the top WR in the league, Massaquoi was a solid starter for the Browns until a James Harrison cheap shot ended his career, and Durham played for the Lions for awhile.

Not as good as some of the LSU groups, but that's a solid group.

2004 WR had good QBs to throw the ball to them. Look at LSU WRs, how many great receivers have been overlooked because the had QBs who sucked throwing to them. Luckily Julio had enough talent to overcome McElroy's deficiencies.

Well, none of the lsu players listed got overlooked because alot of them were drafted really high in the draft and are still playing pro ball. So they didn't get overlooked at all.

Those are all pretty forgettable players, honestly completely forgot about all of them until you brought them up, and still only remember 1 of them, maybe 2.

I mean it's a guy from over 10 years ago whose best season was 737 yards, and was a quick NFL flameout. Why should he be forever etched into people's minds? Because he "torched" LSU for 71 yards and a TD one season in a 10-9 game?

If Lane Kiffin would of had Landry and Odell with Mett at Quarterback not to mention Hill in the backfield records would have been set. Dumb OP btw.

Even as an AU fan I thought this must have been a joke. Those for guys were good, solid college players and really not much more. Aromashadou and Obamanu had a few years in the NFL but mostly as #4 or 5 WRs and special teams guys.
