Fans complaining about other fans not thinking LSU is the greatest team ever. Saying LSU could get swept, on the road, by #2 is saying the sky is falling.

Come on man you know there are people saying way worst stuff about this team than they might get swept at A&M. That is a possibility but people will still complain about it and want CPM fired. That is the people I am referring to.

No, but those fans are no worse than the ones who expect CWS appearances each year and then bitch at people who say otherwise.

Agree here. I think LSU might win 1 of 3 though. A bad Bama team just beat LSU 2/3.
It is not the end of the world if we go 0-3. There is still a lot of baseball left in this season.

There is a whole lot of reverse jinxing going on. F that noise. It is going to be a hard fought series. LSU's pitching talent is still stupid good. Even though we've been tearing the cover off the ball, momentum changes quickly when a pitcher is on. Plus A&M's pitching looked like hot garage vs Auburn. All this A&M sweeps crap is not likely.

LSU will win 2 games in this series. My only reason is because this young team is too young to let the magnitude of this game get to them. They have been playing with nothing to lose so far this season, and bounced back with the win against USL on Tuesday. All the fans down on this team because of the Bama series needs to look at the stats from that weekend and see how many runners we left on base. That stuff happens in baseball sometimes and could very well happen to us again this weekend, but could also happen to the Aggies. Good luck Aggies and Geaux Tigers!

Im going:
Game 1 - LSU wins 5-3
Game 2 - A&M wins 8-3
Game 3 - 1 run game, but I'll just say LSU cause I'm biased. LSU wins 6-5
Just hope the series is half as good as it was last year.

I tend to agree with you. We can score runs, but if our pitching doesn't take a big leap forward real quick, we will be lucky to get one win this weekend.
Should be a good series, but I get the feeling that our pitching is about to be exposed in a big way.

they're not being sarcastic. Maineri looks like he recruited from the Zoolander school for ants, as our team just isn't as athletic as it typically is. On top of that, we only have like 5 seniors. Our biggest asset is supposed to be pitching, but the space jam martians have seemingly taken our talent.

I imagine Lange has been an unpleasant surprise so far. 4.5 ERA compared to 1.97 last year, and that's mostly before SEC play. About like our two previously nails closers Ecker and Vinson have been for us. I hope Lange gets it together... after this weekend.

I can't get to CS till Saturday, but damn I wish I could be there for all 3 games.
