Great question. I think most people would agree that in coaching, and in any other business model for that matter, the successful people at the top are those who hire good people to assist them who can be depended on to do a good job.
Yet here, two assistants are given the task of simply talking football to a bunch of women for an hour...and these knuckleheads can't even get through it without turning it into a clusterfrick for the whole program. Sumlin apologized for not going over the material that was going to be in the presentation....but the point is HE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO do that. Theoretically, a coach should be able to trust his assistants with simple tasks like this. It is on Sumlin for hiring a couple of dumbasses.
