bama's D was nothing special this year.
Bama's defense was still a little young and not losing many this year but the offensive play calling this past year was horrible in crunch time.

Nuss was brought in for an OC and to develop QB's since he had done such a good job with Jake Locker. The QB's don't seem to be developing any better and some spotty play calling and decisions. These two things is why the "pressure" was on Nuss.

If you make questionable decisions as a CEO or management position then you have to answer for them. Saban and Kirby can fix the defense but can Nuss do any better as the OC...Probably not.

Let's go hire an iffy OC. That will fix all of the problems.

Lane's offense and QB development has been pretty good no matter where he has coached at, just look at offensive stats pre and post Lane coaching at his last few jobs.

Lane is also a hell of a recruiter but not so much of a motivator which I think Saban's got that department covered.

I like Kiffin as an OC just not as a head coach. IMO Kiffin will come out of this job a better football coach and person and Bama's offensive stats may be better also.....win....win for all!

Well Yeldon clearly got it on 3rd and one the refs didn't give it to him. But they should have run something else on 4th and one.

Nuss probably left because saban is such an a-hole and horrible to work for

Saban is as tough on asst coaches as he is on players. He will undress them in front of the players.
