10 years from now, nobody will know Auburn as the 2013 SEC Champions. They'll remember them as the team that lost to Florida State in the national championship, which temporarily ended the SEC's streak of dominance.

I don't know if anyone will think of Auburn being the 2013 SEC Champions or FSU being the national champions 10 years from now, but Bama losing on a field goal return to Auburn will be remembered 50 years from now. Different teams win SEC and National Championships every year. But the Iron Bowl ending was a rare gem of an ending that will probably never happen again.

Yea, I think we all know what 2013 will be remembered for -

The year Saban lost his freaking mind.

It all started by going for it on 4th and 1 from the 12yd line instead of putting the game away. Followed by arguing for a second to kick a 57yd field goal with a freshman kicker and not covering the return.

Followed up by getting out coached by Stoops (how many pts did OU score?).

Then before they put the jacket on him - He went out and hired Lane Kiffen.

Lugenbarner: Look at that throw from Jameis. All that LUCK down the tubes. A thing of beauty

The Auburn team you think was just lucky to beat Bammer made a much better showing in the NC game than the Roll Tiders did in the Sugar Bowl

If you read between the line you know by Saban's comment at halftime of the SECCG and on the TAMU game that Saban wasn't really happy with Nuss, but we won the national title and it was AJs last year so CNS stayed put.

CNS 1st OC Major Applewhite was sent packing after 1 year.

Nuss didn't seem to want to establish the run first, but liked to get fancy on early downs putting us in 2nd and long too often.

CNS wants long consuming drives if it is working, a great time of possession offense is the best defense.

15-0 coming up.

Options for Bama:

Auburn Lost?

" haha y'all suck you lost to FSU!! Malzahn is worse than chiz!! Pay no attention to the fact that we got our arse pounded by a big 12 team!!"

Auburn Won?

"Bring it back to the state of Alabama!! We own college football right? Let's ride that Aubie pecker into the sunset and file it under state pride"

I don't really have a dog in this hunt. But anyone watching those last two games could see they had some issues on offense. IMHO...it really boiled down to play calling.

I commented to my friends during the Iron Bowl, that the OC would be looking for a job soon.

Don't know if Kiffin is the answer. That's two really big egos trying to coexist.

We'll see.

Aren't you glad the ticker on ESPN is talking Kiffin instead of showing Jameis throwing a game winner?

I find the envy and jealousy of all the insignificant, wannabes out there to be both exhilarating and pathetic...strange.

You think Nuss was happy with Saban's year-long planning to stop Johnny Football (or at least contain him some)?

Nope.

Story I heard was that Nuss refused to accept Michelle Pritchett's apology.
